Shanghai Place
Great place! Found it on Google maps when were looking for a Chinese restaurant. Glad we went there. Feels like a cozy place where your Chinese grandma would make you super delicious food. While eating - we noticed multiple customers who looked like returning customers as they were taking and sharing family memories with the cute lady host. Food was awesome! The only suggestion is to make sure that whoever smokes cigarettes backdoor - to do that farther (or not to do at all) so smell doesn't come to the dinning area 👌 Thank you!
The owner is very nice. She shows a lot of kindness and tries to remember her customers. The atmosphere is that of a very old-school American Chinese restaurant. The food is definitely not genuine, but the food is pretty good in its own right. The portions are pretty large, so be careful how much you order. Overall, I would recommend.
Min's Dumpling Mission Viejo
Grand opening today! Everything was tasty and I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu including the juicy dumplings and the fried shrimp. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming!
We ordered orange chicken, Mongolian beef, vegetable fried rice, egg rolls, dumplings, and pot stickers … everything was yummy … especially appreciated the light breading on the orange chicken … will definitely eat here again … go and get yourself some good food!
P.F. Chang's
Delicious and amazing quality food, great customer service, clean and neat!! This restaurant in particular is my top favorite place to go eat and celebrate my special occasions like my birthday or wedding anniversary! Food has always been delicious and the ambiance and customer service has always been amazing. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming making us feel at home. I reached out to Mr James Brown, P. F. Chang's manager, and inquired about the possibility of celebrating my 11th wedding anniversary at his location. From the very beginning he shared that they would be happy to be part of my special day and assured me that he and his team would take great care of us and they would help us coordinate and accommodate the best seating arrangements for me and my guests. We planned ahead of time and came up with a perfect spot and table setting and the team went above and beyond to make my vision come true. Mr Brown was always in contact with us, checking in and happily answering all my questions and concerns. They allowed me to drop off items needed for "the day of" and made sure they were stored safely. I had a seating chart and name cards and they also took care of it. Despite some challenges that come along when planning a wedding celebration, and unforeseen events that were beyond anyone's control, they always made sure to step in and work through them and do nothing but their very best to make sure my celebration was perfect went smoothly. All my guests were impressed with the table setting and everyone loved their food. Our servers were super friendly and constantly checked in with everyone to make sure to meet their needs. My 11th wedding anniversary was a total hit and all I ever wanted! I will forever be grateful for the fantastic staff and all the team for making my day a wonderful day to remember! Thank you to all the P F. Chang's at Mission Viejo Team!! Sincerely, The Castro-Espinoza Family
Happy hour is now all day with $5 specials. We come here to enjoy their bar often. Drinks are reasonable and staff is super friendly. Eat dinner at the bar as well. The fried green beans are so delicious with the dipping sauce. Pad Thai was flavorful and large portion. Their new dessert red velvet cheesecake with raspberry coulis was yummy.
Little Chopsticks
This dining experience was nothing short of perfect! The moment we walked in, the clean and well - organized environment made a great impression. The waitstaff greeted us warmly, and all the recommended dishes were a hit. Each one was exquisitely prepared and left a lingering aftertaste. With such excellent service and delicious food, I’m definitely bringing my family here often!
This restaurant serves the most authentic food I've ever had in the United States. The owner and the staff are extremely kind and friendly. The food is of high quality while the prices are affordable. It's truly a gem. I'll definitely be back!
Big Chopsticks
Please, think of a better name for a Chinese restaurant. Def better than the 3.6 GMaps haters give. I’d say fair market value is about 4.2. It’s best for takeout, and for feeding large groups 6+. Pricing is awesome, taste is right and it just has that vibe. Mongolian beef is a highlight and you have to do chow mein. Don’t waste your time with sweet and sour chicken, it was pretty disappointing and frankly, I’d skip the chicken. Maybe try the orange chicken? But yes, I’ll be back to BIG Chopsticks.
Recently ordered takeout from [chopsticks] to take advantage of their buy-one-get-one-free deal. While the portion size was large, the overall experience fell short. Sweetness Overload: The chow mein was excessively sweet, likely due to an overabundance of hoisin sauce. Chicken Concerns: The chicken was disappointing. It included dark meat (which I don't prefer), and even the white meat was overcooked and dry. Greasy Wontons: The wontons were greasy, and the small amount of chicken inside was chewy and fatty, making them unappetizing. Unfortunately, due to the issues mentioned above, none of us finished our meals, and a significant portion went to waste. Past Orders Positive: It's important to note that I've ordered from [chopsticks] previously with satisfactory results. However, this recent experience makes me hesitant to order again, especially considering my dietary restrictions (no pork or beef). Recommendation: If you're looking for savory options or prefer lighter sauces, I might suggest exploring other restaurants.
Panda Express
Well, I thought that I ordered my food at the Irvine location at it turned out it was Mission Viejo. I was already about an hour late for pickup before I called Mission Viejo Panda Express to let them know. Raymond picked up the phone. I told him I was running late and he told me my food was sitting out for about an hour and OFFERED to ask the kitchen to remake the food for me. I gladly thanked him and God blessed him for his kindness and thoughtfulness. He asked about how long I would take before I arrived. I told him about 20 minutes and he said he would have them remake it in about 15 minutes. I ended up getting there after about 27 minutes and he was actually the one who helped me when I walked up to the Pick-Up counter. Haha, I saw his name tag and said, “Hey Raymond it’s Frankie!” He laughed and smiled and handed me my food while saying, “It’s still nice and fresh for you”. I God blessed him and thanked him again. He was very kind and I’m so glad he and the kitchen and Panda Express went out of their way to not only make my order but keep it warm for me. And the food?? 5 out of 5!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Orange Kitchen with Grilled Teriyaki Chicken over chow mein?? My tastebuds are cluckin haha!!! I’m so glad I tried Panda Express in Mission Viejo for the first time! I’m looking forward to trying a NEW dish next time!!
I ordered Panda Express for my mom and her caregiver this evening as they were craving Chinese cuisine. They had the orange chicken, beef and broccoli and mushroom chicken with rice and chow mein. The delivery service was spot on and the ambiance in mom's cozy home with a view of the mountains nearby. Highly recommended.
Panda Express
Why is the food at this location so awful? Do they not follow recipes correctly? This is by far the worst location I have ever been to. The chow mein has no flavor and is never fresh. The food is not enjoyable to eat. Please get a cook from any other location to train your cooks. I'm also suspicious that they keep the food past the allowed time
This locations always sucked for years. Probably one of the worst in OC or South OC. My last visit was via a dodgers win promocode they're in for it now with a potential 100 win season ahead. Complete inedible garbage outta here undercooked noodles raw rice in the fried rice the chicken teriyaki had a slimy chewy consistency. They clearly expedite all of their lower grade food or stuff that's supposed to be binned/canned to orders or online orders trying to get a deal in this economy. Looking forward to this location going out of business even mv locations portions are as trash as when that patron owned the togos. The only good one locally was at the oso pavilions years back. You have to go to Aliso or Laguna niguel or the mall if you don't want to be served garbage or skimped out portions
Panda Express
Worst noodles (dry or uncooked) in OC and half portion size compared to other Panda in Orange County
I went to get lunch. I usually try to see if the person scooping the entrees gives a decent portion given their single scoop standard. The server who was serving the group of guys before another customer then me gave them double portions of chicken without an upcharge for extra portions. Then there was a different server who came on to help the line and when I went he skimped on the one scoop of each entree. I decided to ask if I could get a little bit more of the second entree when both seemed skimpy and then the guy said it would cost extra for extra chicken. Overall the experience was very disappointing and I almost was considering walking off, leaving the food there and going to a different place in the food court but I didn't want to be rude.
