PHO MdR | Noodle Culture
The food was good and the dessert was also delicious. The coconut shrimp appetizer is a must try. The Pho was okay and could be more authentic. The egg roll was also good. The restaurant added a 15% service charge, which I wish they just let customers tip instead of a mandatory charge. Overall, the food was good.
Had been on my list to try for a while and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend the Tom yum noodle soup :) definitely satisfied the craving I had been having. I used to work at a Thai restaurant for 5 years and it took me right back
Tahntawan Thai Kitchen
Another hidden gem. The food was tasty, portions large, prices reasonable. We got papaya salad which had a unique smell but tasted good. Spicy beef salad had extra tender meat and was flavorful. Green curry was rich in coconut which was an acquired taste but we liked it. And the pad thai was normal and delicious.
Service was great. The outdoor patio was really nice place to sit. The food was good and they have good lunch specials.
J Nichols Kitchen
J Nichols Kitchen is a true gem in the West Los Angeles dining scene. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this spot delivers consistently great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. One standout on the menu is their Reuben sandwich—hands down one of the best I’ve had. The corned beef is perfectly tender, the sauerkraut is just the right balance of tangy and crisp, and the Swiss cheese melts beautifully into the toasted rye bread. Every bite is packed with flavor, and it’s clear that they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. Beyond the Reuben, the entire menu is well-crafted, offering a mix of classic comfort dishes and fresh, modern takes. The service is always friendly, and whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, you can expect a great experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, delicious spot in Los Angeles with a laid-back yet elevated feel, J Nichols Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Stopped by here after a flight into LAX and loved the open sunny vibes of the restaurant. Really beautiful interior and great staff. Food wasn’t super cheap but plating was vibrant and food was clean and very enjoyable! Would certainly go back again if I’m in the area. Do check it out for breakfast / brunch with friends.
Panda Express
This is the most stingy Panda Express I ever been to! purposely they try to give you as little as they can! or side of shrimp they couldn't fill the little box, I why, the answer was side of shrimp is 7 pieces! they should advertise on the price, 7 pieces! order 4 combos, got 3 napkins! who ever owns this franchised is just Nickle and dime the customers !
LOOK AT HOW MUCH FOOD THEY GAVE ME!!! Never going back to this location, bigger plate was small
