Not a super fancy place so that's how you know they have great food! Everything was so delicious!! I would go back definitely!

We got two lunch specials and they were both fresh, hot, and tasty. The peanut sauce on the salad is so good. We appreciated that the server helped us make sure our food was vegetarian. We left full and satisfied.

March 2024 I hadn't really come across a Vietnamese takeaway before so this was interesting. I ordered a combination of Vietnamese prawns, meats and spring rolls served on rice with salad. It was very tasty!

I have mixed reviews about this spot. There’s a small parking lot at the top of the mini shopping complex with additional parking on the street or taking the ramp down. Service was quick, ordered online and quick pick up. Don’t forget there’s only pick up and zero dine in at this location. Ambience was clean from what I could see. Food Banh mi sandwiches were packed with tofu and chicken. both marination was good but made my stomach extremely sore after, Spicy Garlic Chicken Sandwich $11.95 Spicy Garlic Tofu Sandwich $11.95 Veggie Pho $16.50 Extra Mixed Veggies $2.25 Pho was stacked with veggies but a little bland Pork Sausage Spring Roll $0.00 Pork was extremely dry……….. I don’t think I would come back only because the sandwiches or overall food made my stomach extremely sore…..

The food was okay in flavor. It did not blow me away. The delivery was also covered in sauce from one opening due to how it was packed. The bowls were incredibly disappointing in quantity of food. There was hardly any in the bowl. I would understand if the price weren’t so high. I am not going back and would not recommend.

Will finish off the review after I get my order, but for now, I’ll clarify this is in a complex where you have to enter the first photo here which is towards the left hand side of the building if you’re looking at it. It’s not an individual store, but a part of many restaurants (4th photo) and you order it off a kiosk and then pick it up after a wait. The lady was attentive and constantly asking if we were waiting for something. The guy with the long hair who came out later did the same. If I knew they were going to be so good about making sure we got our orders, I probably would have added a tip. However, since the tip was automatically included, that sort of frustrated me on the assumption we should tip a pickup order. They add a small fee as well. It was $0.60 on an $11.99 order which totaled it out to $13.73. The order took 16 mins from order to them bringing it out. More on the food and how long it takes in a bit… There is a restroom on site in the main area where you order.

The food is just gross. The breading is soggy and literally fell off the chicken (that’s how it already was when I opened it) I tried to cancel the delivery as soon as I saw the google reviews but it said I’d get charged the full amount anyway. This tastes like it’s the TJ Maxx of restaurants—like they get other restaurants’ leftovers sent to them and they just throw them into a bowl. It’s supposed to be orange chicken and I’ve yet to have a bite that even resembles orange anything. I’d call it a “hot mess” but it’s lukewarm at best. It sounds good in the descriptions but the fact that they aren’t even on yelp says it all..

I ordered the orange chicken bowl with added broccoli, mandarin oranges and on a bed of sweet potato noodles. Pros: tastes delicious, looks delicious, full of different veggies, and was a huge portion but maybe that's my bias since I'm tiny. Cons: expensive, took a whole hour before it was sent off with my uber, breading is soggy (where's the CRISP), and orange chicken should definitely come with the oranges. I'm confused as to why others are getting such terrible service, this is my second bowl and I've been loving it.

I ordered it on postmates and had to cancel the order in no exaggeration 5 seconds after ordering it. They then claimed they were somehow already in the process of making me food and decided to charge me the full price of the food. Subhumans running this place

What I ordered vs what I received. The chicken teriyaki was looking real sad. This is a $15 bowl mind you. The fries on the side were super soggy as well.

March 2024 The prices were on the more expensive side for a takeaway but the food was really good. The portions were also very generous. I recommend this place for a good Chinese takeaway.

Delicious, fresh Chinese food. Would highly recommend the orange chicken and the green beans!

food was good. however, i ordered the noodle soup with the pork. based on the menu, i had the misimpression that it would be at least a bit spicy, but it turned out not spicy at all. it was still delicious but it was just surprising to me. the side dishes were quite average. the atmosphere was ok. they had some cute and creative decorative menus and a funny (chinese) sign in the bathroom. although we went in on a sat, it was quite empty somehow.

Good atmosphere and vibes—‘perfect lunch spot in sawtelle for that beef noodle soup craving you’ve been thinkin about. I’ve actually tried this place dine in and out! The wood ear x innards x tofu skin salad is so mouth watering— spicy and flavorful. The noodle soups come with large portion and the flavor is so so good (for dine in)— I think the noodle soup delivery just doesn’t hit the same— but still tasty!! The meat is always delicious and so are the noodles :) The 盐酥鸡 here— my gawdddd chefs kiss THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. The right about of crispy textured and the perfect savory spicy notes that makes you want to literally inhale it. You can’t deny how good it is and they really give the basil to ya too— the Chinese broccoli as a side dish is also solid choice 👍 The beef noodle soups alone is about 18-19 bucks I think? So I would say the meal can easily be 20-30 bucks depending on what sides you got to order with. But if you’ve got a small stomach— bring a pal and split a bowl!! Will totes come back for other dishes 10000/10!!💫💫💫💫💫

Amazing service and even better food. Xander was an outstanding server and a soul reason we will be back! The green beans are AMAZING. 15/10. So rich with favorite and cooked to perfection. Cucumbers are fabulous, the tofu pork, popcorn chicken, and chicken fried rice. I absolutely love that they are gluten free friendly! We will be back!

Shiitake mushrooms in noodles were amazing but rest of the dish was very greasy and heavy. Dumplings were good crispy. Scallion pancakes were underwhelming. Nice interior

Tigawok Mini Bowl - Sawtelle

For value, it’s no contest. The food is very good for small plates that are $3.99. You get to try a bunch of plates and be satisfied. Nothing is blow ya out the water but solid to great all around: egg plant, Thai basil is pretty awesome, tofu is good but my friend loves it. Good stuff. Enjoy. 4.5 out of 5 for food but 5 out of 5 for value. Seating, limited but it’s LAX.

Tigawok does what it aims to accomplish. I ordered the orange peel chicken and rice which came out to around $7. The orange peel chicken was tasty with a cardamom like flavor and orange peels. This food reminded me of frozen food from Trader Joe’s, but again… it was tasty and affordable with a good vibe / space. I got to hand it to them. This is the future. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Food alone, it's pretty good for Chinese. The food is a 4/5. Quality seems alright but it's a little on the high side. Everything we ordered came out piping hot and crisp which meant it was freshly prepared. Only bad thing was my steam white rice. It was well over cooked and was like a rice cake... all mushy inside the middle. The bad part is the service and atmosphere. Half the restaurant is closed down, just looks like areas for storage so only a few open tables. Decor is older, floors a little dirty, and tables/menus a lityle sticky. The gentlemen running the place doesn't speak English well and either doesn't hear or pretends not to hear any requests. For example, extra napkins or silverware... you can ask but you may or may not get it. It's a typical Chinese restaurant with poor service but pretty good food. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.6/5 so I'm rounding up.

They are completely unfriendly and bad attitude. Not recommended at all.
