Food - pretty good but not great Service - nice people but minimal service Ambiance - clean and comfortable I have been to many Northern Cafes and have been looking forward to this one. I noticed most of the reviews were about dumplings and realized this one is more specialized for dumplings (boiled, pan-fried and steamed XLB varieties. I was hoping for the noodle specialties like the one in Gardena (which is my favorite in the region, 10 min more drive for me). We ordered: - crab dumplings- steamed, XLB style, it was pretty good - lamb dumplings- pan fried, it was ok, a little oily - beef noodle soup- it was ok, they only served with thin noodles, we preferred other handmade varieties at the Gardena store We also ordered the beef rolls to go, it looked exact like the ones shown on the poster, ha ha. Overall, pretty good if you are hungry dumplings!

New restaurant seemingly run by a mom and pop. It doesn’t seem to be fully set up yet since there are areas of the restaurant blocked off and supplies in the back but they are serving food. They have a lean team so people were waiting around. The food is ok but the other locations are better. They might get better with time.

Lacks flavor and insanely greasy. There was so much grease coming up the side of the bowl I couldn’t finish my meal. The beef egg roll was a burst of oil. Meal was thrown away.

Food was good. But service was not welcoming or nice. Me and my family ordered food and ate it inside. Then two ladies came in because they claim to have been given a fake 20. And wanted their money back. The receptionist didn’t want to give the money back and decided to call the manager. Walked away to call the manager and returned given the two ladies no update. They threatened to call police if not given their money back. She decide to give the money back and they left leaving her the fake 20 dollar bill.

The Lo mein was soggy/mushy. The chicken in the fried rice was cold. The same sauce was used on 3 different entrees. The lo mein, beef with broccoli, kung pao chicken, all had the same sauce. Never have I ever experienced this. The service was great though.

So i was looking to replace my beloved, since closed, lucky star. It's no lucky star, but it does the job. They were friendly and decently fast esp during prime dinner take out time. Would order again but I continue my search for my new lucky star...

Horrible experience, waited 20 minutes after placing my order in the drive thru. I was asked to pull forward and they would bring my food out. I then noticed 4 cars that were behind me were also told to wait in the parking lot. When my food was brought out, the employee had an attitude and didn't even apologize for the delay. My food was cold. That place really sucks.

The price of a 2 entree plate with mein noodles and or fried rice is about 12$ this April 2025 and a soup can run for about the same but you can get the bowls which you can ask for 2 entrees will be 8$. This picture has mushrooms chicken in a mild brown sauce with carrots and squash zucchini. A quart eaten. And pink charsiu pork BBQ. Half eaten. It's one of the most dependably good feelings you can get in San Pedro. Comfort Chinese food at Louie's Number 2 Chinese Restaurant. Number 1 is in Wilmington.

This place is fantastic! We recently moved to the area and have already eaten here twice. It’s definitely going to be a regular spot for us because we’ve really enjoyed the food. The staff is friendly, especially the lady who runs the place, and the combo meals are a great value—good portions at a reasonable price. The menu has plenty of options, and everything we’ve tried so far has been excellent. I don’t understand why the reviews aren’t better because it’s such a great deal. Sure, it’s not a luxury experience, but for what you pay, it’s totally worth it. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
