This restaurant impresses from the moment you step in—not just for its sheer size but also for its immaculate cleanliness, an often-overlooked detail that sets the tone for a premium buffet experience. Ambiance & Service China Buffet is remarkably well-organized, spacious, and spotless, making it one of the cleanest buffet establishments you’ll find. The service is nothing short of excellent; from the moment you enter, the friendly and attentive staff—from the host to the cashier—ensure a smooth dining experience. You prepay for the buffet at the front before being seated, which streamlines the experience and allows you to enjoy your meal without interruptions. Food Quality & Selection The variety of food is impressive. Everything is fresh, from the crisp, vibrant vegetables to the beautifully presented sushi. Often, buffets can fall short when it comes to sushi, but here, each piece is fresh, well-prepared, and replenished regularly. The hot dishes maintain their integrity, never feeling like they’ve been sitting out for too long. The selection covers all the classics, from savory stir-fries to perfectly seasoned seafood, making it an excellent choice for any palate. Pricing & Value Perhaps one of the most remarkable aspects of China Buffet is its affordability. At just $18.99 per person, it offers incredible value considering the quality and variety of food provided. Soft drinks are an additional $2.35, and with tax, the total comes to a mere $23.37—a steal in an area where a simple sandwich can cost the same. Convenience & Parking Another great perk is the large and accessible parking area, which makes dining here stress-free. Additionally, their lunch service extends until 4:00 PM, giving guests more flexibility, especially for those who prefer to enjoy a late lunch at an unbeatable price. With a well-maintained buffet, incredibly fresh ingredients, and a team dedicated to customer satisfaction, it offers a dining experience that far exceeds its modest price point. If you’re looking for an affordable yet high-quality buffet experience in the area, this is the place to go. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended!
There is a good variety of food here including crabs and sashimi, sushi and ice-cream. Drinks are not included but they do serve tap water.
Lunasia Dim Sum House
One of the best dim sum places! Good price, generous portions, and fresh ingredients that are freshly made. Highly recommend any of their baked or deep fried things like the shrimp roll and Chinese donut. I think they have the freshest best tasting Chinese donut in comparison to elsewhere. Their jumbo shrimp and pork sui mai is so fresh it tastes like they just made it there and then for order. I've been a few times and never disappointed.
Really pretty space. Wide menu and tasty food. The downsides is that it's a little complicated to find parking relative to its entrance, and the employees are very aloof? Not sure how to describe it. The manager was very nice though.
Tasty Noodle House
Wife was craving Hong Kong style cafes. Guess we should try probably the only offering in the southbay, sad. To make it short. It's not bad, we taste the wok hei. Will return. Support this place, bring more customers, maybe then they will revive the HK style milk tea. Menu and prices as of Nov 2024.
What a wonderful place to eat! Authentic food and friendly staff. Shanghai Soup dumplings are so good as well as the stir fried Rice Cakes with pork slices and vegetables. Friendly staff. Fresh food.
Szechwan Chinese Food
The food we had here was really good. Definitely above average Chinese food, all cooked very well. My issue was with the price and the service. The dishes ran between about $13 for plain chow main to about $25 or maybe a little more for some of the dishes like walnut shrimp. There was no rice served with the food as you usually find in Chinese restaurants so it was just the plates of food. As far as the service goes they were nice and it was pretty quick they just didn’t really check in with us to see if everything was ok. Our grandson really wanted some plain noodles and I had to find someone to ask them if we could get dome. (Those were the plain chow main noodles I mentioned.) Anyway it was good and I enjoyed going to a place my grandpa used to enjoy years ago. I usually give 5 star reviews but I couldn’t quite get there in this case just because the price seemed high for what we got. If you want dim sum check if they have it before you go. That might only be on the weekends. They didn’t have it on the Friday night we went.
Visiting from out of town. This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant...a favorite of my daughter's family. If you are searching for great tasting chinese food, this is it!!! The overall quality, quantity, and presentation of their entrées are superb! Tonight, we ordered their Beef Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet n Sour Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Walnut Shrimp. We were seated and served by Leo. He and another waiter tended to our every need and kept our drinks topped all throughout our dining experience.
A-1 Chinese BBQ
Food is always very good. Doesn't seem to have much MSG as we don't feel thirsty after eating here. Atmosphere is minimal as A1 is a tiny hole in the wall type restaurant. Max 10 tables total. Servers are friendly. Very compatible price for the area. Good amount of parking sharing with the businesses in the back of the parking lot. Lunch special daily are great prices n get busy because it's a tiny dining area. We always order at least 4 dishes n take home the leftovers for next day lunch or dinner.
Just okay Chinese food nothing to brag about. They don't accept American Express and i always wonder why go into business if you restrict your customers. Some Shrimps not devain well. Overall also lacking flavor had to add seasoning. And was $50 dollars for 3 items but good portions given.
Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine
Plenty of parking, nice and clean, and good service. The cold spicy chicken is very good. The sauce is slightly sweet and salty, and it's got quite a kick for spiciness. The chicken is not tender but also not dry. It's got. Firmness to it. It's very good for its price of $11. The toothpick lamb kind of has a bold, bitter flavor to it that I'm not quite used to. The pieces of lamb are crispy, but it's kind of more cooked than I expected, as it's slightly dry inside instead of juicy. I like the little toothpicks in the pieces. The portion is very large to share. I'm interested in trying the cumin lamb next time.
No reservation needed. Items are served family style. I love spicy food, the spice level of the dishes are perfect! I feel my sinuses clearing after a good meal here. The numbing spice level is great too. I always order the toothpick lamb when I come here. No bad dishes yet.
Fine Wok
Food overall good and good portions, shrimp fried rice, standard not bad, beef chow mei, good flavor, walnut shrimp very well done that's why I have 4 start. However, the sweet and sour soup, no sour taste at all needs more sour to get that known flavor of this particular soup. But overall i would order from here again. But will be on the lookout for the 5 ⭐✨ Chinese restaurant near my neighborhood. oh by the way no chopsticks given so if you use them please let them know to give you some.
Just wasn't very good. No care into the dishes at all. The walnut shrimp sauce was just a blob on top instead of nicely coated pieces. The rice noodles were stale and inedible.
Peking Dragon Restaurant
We came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and we were glad we chose this spot. The interior is very nice and well-designed. They have a very extensive menu, which can accommodate anyone’s taste, and we really appreciated them having the Peking duck, which was delicious. The waiters are a bit detached. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.
March 2024 update-delightful! Wasn’t sure the new management/ownership was going to get it right, but I believe they have! A few additions to the menu, wonderful, attentive staff, good prices, huge portions, and absolutely delicious Chinese food. /// previous Review: Good food, reasonable prices, same ownership and location for 30 years 💕💕💕
Panda Express
This Panda is ok. What makes it ordinary is the lack of fresh food out later in the day. This location is very well kept and clean. Staff is fairly attentive. You should have better luck during busier times of day when the demand for fresh food is there.
They were kind of rude to my mom. My brother is VEGAN. My mom was told to get spring rolls for my brother & they are supposed to be vegan... (According to Google). They were rude to my mom & said that they cook the Spring Rolls together with all the other meat food products (whatever meat products that is...), so we were pretty disappointed. They can easily do & use cleanlier methods, but whatever it's okay this time. I ordered the usual... Orange chicken 🍊🐔 & fried rice 🍚. Like usual. I always end up liking the rice more than the chicken. For some reason I only like their orange chicken when it starts getting cold. Idk. Something about the tanginess of the orange chicken with the heat makes it unappetizing to me. That's just me though. I do prefer to get Chinese food from more authentic places, but Panda Express is always eventful. Especially when it comes to fast-food. 🐼 Like someone said... Parking 🅿️ is super tight in that side of the plaza. However, the flowers are very beautiful. 🌺🌺🌺🌺
Panda Express
Listen DONT GET ME WRONG! I LOVE PANDA EXPRESS! But they portioning SUCKS. or im just a fata** but who cares why are yall giving soo much rice with little to no entree. Like come on now. I literally had to order a small side of the entree just to see fit with my rice portion & If new manager she has to go rude sucks attitude cause i wanted MORE. CHICKEN THAN JUST GREEN BEANS
The food was good, nice and hot. The guy that took my order was friendly and polite. The Orange chicken and the walnut shrimp 🍤 were nice and crunchy, just the way I like it.
