Tasty Noodle House
Wife was craving Hong Kong style cafes. Guess we should try probably the only offering in the southbay, sad. To make it short. It's not bad, we taste the wok hei. Will return. Support this place, bring more customers, maybe then they will revive the HK style milk tea. Menu and prices as of Nov 2024.
What a wonderful place to eat! Authentic food and friendly staff. Shanghai Soup dumplings are so good as well as the stir fried Rice Cakes with pork slices and vegetables. Friendly staff. Fresh food.
The Wok Experience
Food was disgusting tasted old and had a bad flavor. Also the service was not great as they made faces and showed their mood while taking out order. Way too expensive $60 for three plates and one bowl.
This place serves a very good and delicious food . Service is always great, not to mention the food portion they serve is very generous. Nothing to complain about this place .
Szechwan Chinese Food
The food we had here was really good. Definitely above average Chinese food, all cooked very well. My issue was with the price and the service. The dishes ran between about $13 for plain chow main to about $25 or maybe a little more for some of the dishes like walnut shrimp. There was no rice served with the food as you usually find in Chinese restaurants so it was just the plates of food. As far as the service goes they were nice and it was pretty quick they just didn’t really check in with us to see if everything was ok. Our grandson really wanted some plain noodles and I had to find someone to ask them if we could get dome. (Those were the plain chow main noodles I mentioned.) Anyway it was good and I enjoyed going to a place my grandpa used to enjoy years ago. I usually give 5 star reviews but I couldn’t quite get there in this case just because the price seemed high for what we got. If you want dim sum check if they have it before you go. That might only be on the weekends. They didn’t have it on the Friday night we went.
Visiting from out of town. This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant...a favorite of my daughter's family. If you are searching for great tasting chinese food, this is it!!! The overall quality, quantity, and presentation of their entrées are superb! Tonight, we ordered their Beef Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet n Sour Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Walnut Shrimp. We were seated and served by Leo. He and another waiter tended to our every need and kept our drinks topped all throughout our dining experience.
A-1 Chinese BBQ
Food is always very good. Doesn't seem to have much MSG as we don't feel thirsty after eating here. Atmosphere is minimal as A1 is a tiny hole in the wall type restaurant. Max 10 tables total. Servers are friendly. Very compatible price for the area. Good amount of parking sharing with the businesses in the back of the parking lot. Lunch special daily are great prices n get busy because it's a tiny dining area. We always order at least 4 dishes n take home the leftovers for next day lunch or dinner.
Just okay Chinese food nothing to brag about. They don't accept American Express and i always wonder why go into business if you restrict your customers. Some Shrimps not devain well. Overall also lacking flavor had to add seasoning. And was $50 dollars for 3 items but good portions given.
Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine
Plenty of parking, nice and clean, and good service. The cold spicy chicken is very good. The sauce is slightly sweet and salty, and it's got quite a kick for spiciness. The chicken is not tender but also not dry. It's got. Firmness to it. It's very good for its price of $11. The toothpick lamb kind of has a bold, bitter flavor to it that I'm not quite used to. The pieces of lamb are crispy, but it's kind of more cooked than I expected, as it's slightly dry inside instead of juicy. I like the little toothpicks in the pieces. The portion is very large to share. I'm interested in trying the cumin lamb next time.
No reservation needed. Items are served family style. I love spicy food, the spice level of the dishes are perfect! I feel my sinuses clearing after a good meal here. The numbing spice level is great too. I always order the toothpick lamb when I come here. No bad dishes yet.
