Stopped by for dinner, didn't look like much, thought it was closed but wow was I surprised, the food is authentic Cantonese fare which was tasty but the best part was the full bar that's attached to the restaurant, it almost looks like a separate place but the bartender was a sweetheart, nice heavy pours, reasonable prices and really great friendly locals, I'm going back for sure!

Who ever the manager is should be highly ashamed of themselves. This poor older waitress was running the bar, dining room, and phones all by herself. Poor thing was so so beyond her mental means. Anyways, food was good. Seating is small if you have an infant. The windows I smelt cig smoke through from the outside (gross). The prices are alittle steep. They offer quite a bit. I would say staff if friendly but only one person was working. But she was great. No baby changing station. Decent parking.

I had a wonderful experience at Pick Up Stix in La Mesa! The restaurant was spotless, which is always a great first impression. I ordered the Bang Bang Noodles, and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. The staff, especially Michael, were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for tasty food and excellent service!

Delicious hot food and they went out of their way to make sure that my order was right. Thank you for going above and beyond to provide amazing customer service! The La Mesa location has a wonderful staff who treat their customers with care and respect.

Fresh food, cash only, their name says it all, Beijing Express, Chinese Fast Food, they got me in and out Fast!

You cannot beat the price of $2.99 per each individual item. They have 20 items on the menu. You can also order party trays of half or full. When you walk in, there were about 12 items on display like a deli. We got 3 items: half and half, orange chicken and chicken teriyaki. All for under $10 with tax. The portions were huge. I did not find the quality or taste to be great. Dry rice, chicken teriyaki was also dry and bland. Could just be the items we got because our friends seem to like this place. Regardless, you can’t beat the price!

Very good food! We got the wings appetizer extra spicy but just tasted like normal orange chicken sauce. We liked the Mongolian beef the best but wish we asked for it a little crispy. Server even made a sauce on the side cause he knew i liked extra spicy food that added great flavor to the entrees.

This place is great, the food is excellent- every time. I'm vegan, and I can only vouch for their veggie options, and I will say they are great. The have a large menue and most items can be made veggie. They have great sauces and flavors, and all dishes that I've had have been top notch. My wife and I like to come here at least once or twice a month, and every time we leave looming forward to coming back again and trying another dish.

Sandiego hidden gem. Best chinese food ive had in years quite some time. Mall is quiet and gives save by the bell vibes. Check it out if you watch Buffy.

What a suprise. The location is hidden behind so much decoration, high partitions, and poorly lit I was expecting it to be really bad. The cost is pretty good compared to a 2 item combo from panda express. The quality of the food is the suprise. All fresh ingredients, quality made and surprisingly flavorful. I recommend the honey walnut shrimp. Good enough for me to stop by next time I am here.

If you like rancid, tasteless, cold food, this is your spot. This place used to be just OK but now it’s really really bad. Don’t waste your money. There’s plenty good restaurants in SD. This isn’t even an option anymore.

Lunch 14.99$ All you can eat. Lots of choices. Salty to me. No salad bar. Head lettuce pulled apart, beets,( tasted like rust). No fresh fruit. All canned. 3 different soups. Lots of seating. Food was refreshed often I was there for 2 hours jus enjoying the ambience. Reminded me when stationed in Korea.

Do not go here. They have four people walking around doing a one person job when they could be helping someone checkout. It takes four people to take the trash out or clean a table. And they just stand around on their phones. And the vibe sucks. To the workers who work there don't worry life gets better.

Came in an hour and a half before closing and the employees complained amongst each other as if I could not hear. I have worked in food and I understand coming in 30 mins till close or 5 minutes till close but a full 1.5 hours?! At least speak where I’m not in ears reach??? Having an attitude because you have to do your job is mind boggling to me.

Food was not good, too salty, the rice wasnt cooked yet, I tasted it like raw rice. I talked to them but they didnt even care. I am not coming back here again and do not recommend this place to anyone.

I watched this dude Cregy help an elderly woman. He was SUPER patient and smiled the whole time! This guy is a perfect example of a good person!
