Chai Lan
I had an amazing dining experience at Chai Lan in Irvine! The food here is absolutely delicious, and I can’t recommend it enough. The seafood noodle soup was rich, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients—definitely a must-try if you’re a fan of bold flavors. Another standout dish was the 锅包肉 (sweet and sour fried pork)—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly balanced in taste. It’s one of the best versions I’ve had in the area! The portions are generous, and the side dishes are a great touch that add to the overall meal. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making it a great spot for a comforting meal with friends or family. If you’re craving authentic and satisfying food, Chai Lan is a place you shouldn’t miss. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!
Very good Korean restaurant! Recommend Black bean sauce noodles with pork, Spicy seafood noodle soup with assorted vegetables and Deep fried pork salad with sweet and sour sauce, They are so delicious! Will come back for sure!
Panda Express
I've visited this Panda Express more times than I can count. It's located inside the Tustin Plaza, with plenty of parking available. The staff is friendly, and there's a good amount of seating inside, plus outdoor seating in the plaza if you prefer. Their limited-time entrees are usually great—especially the sizzling shrimp, which is a standout. The beef with broccoli and Angus beef are also solid choices. The portions are generous for the price, making it a filling meal. However, I've noticed recently that some of the items have become a bit too salty. It's not gourmet, but if you're in the mood for Americanized Chinese food, it’s a convenient and reliable choice for quick, filling meals.
Went here after work with my wife. It was not too busy, though it did get busier as we sat and ate our dinner. First, the staff was super helpful and nice. The person taking our order was especially nice. As was the person who checked us out. The food was good. As expected. Not great. Not bad. But good. I think for us it was the service that was great. Which is what will make us come back for more !!
