Chinese Kitchen Chinese Fast Food
First time coming here but I will definitely come again. I order the combo two, fried rice and chow mein with orange chicken and Kung pao chicken and let me tell you, it's delicious, food is hot and feels fresh. I also ordered a coconut smoothie with boba and is very very good.
This is the first Chinese food restaurant that I tried when I moved to LA. And I have not eaten anywhere else since!! Great flavor, great price, and portion is HUGE! For $12 you can get an enough to eat for 2 days! Hands down one of the absolute best Chinese food restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! And be sure to try the orange chicken! It’s the bomb!
Top wok Mongolian BBQ & Chinese food
Came for lunch with my buddies. The owners were super friendly, and the food is a bit on the salty side, but overall, good!!! I really enjoy the fried rice.
Went there for Mongolian BBQ, sold by weight and it was okay 3/5 and descent value. There was pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp. Non-meat options were chestnuts, pineapple, cabbage, onion, green onion, ginger, mushrooms, brocoli, and bean sprouts. They also have chinese food and dim sim (pricier than most places). We ordered shrimp fried rice 5/5 (legit wok flavor), chicken feet 5/5, siu mai 2/5, and phoenix buns (custard bun) 3/5. The place was very clean. Ordered take out for chinese food the next time - shrimp fried rice 5/5 (verified consistent quality), kung pao chicken 5/5, and BBQ pork char siu 4/5. Pretty good value for 3 items for around $40. Spend per person selected was based on Mongolian BBQ
Lucky Bamboo Kitchen
Been eating here for at least 10 years. Definitely the best Chinese in the South Bay and always had the nicest employees.
I love this place. Its decent and its all cooked fresh right when you order your food its more like for group. They sell by plates no bowls or like combos they have a large menu. My son loved their chow mein and thier shrimp fried rice. Give it a try if your in hawthorne area.
Panda Express
This panda is very diligent and their workers are very earnest in their work. They were taking temps when I walked in and kept the space very clean. The cooks were on a break eating dinner, so when I ordered something that was out, the MANAGER went to the back and started working the wok. She did it without skipping a beat, and the food she made was good! The food I ordered was good overall as well, hot and hit the spot without being too greasy or overcooked like some pandas. This is a top tier panda
If I could post negative reviews I would...Joseph the manager answered the phone call and his answer was that if I want to I can go back to this place to get the ítem that these folks forgot to put, why would I spend my gas going back when it was your mistake, you should have a better customer service and send it by delivery if I paid for something that I didn't get. The woman in front taking the order seems to be in a rush so obviously she's not able to do a good job. I'll be coming back just to get my money back but never again. I'm posting pictures of the plates and the receipt that it shows that I paid for something that I didn't get.
Hong Kong Express Chinese Food
I haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years, but it used to be a go-to for me, especially for the shrimp fried rice. I decided to visit today and order my usual, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. It seems like there’s a new owner, and the shrimp fried rice was definitely not up to the usual standard. The rice was bland and very white, lacking the usual flavors I remembered. The shrimp, unfortunately, didn’t taste fresh—it had a very strong "sea" taste that was hard to get past. I tried to salvage the dish with some chili oil, which helped a little, but the shrimp was pretty much inedible due to the off flavor. I’m not sure if the new ownership is affecting the quality, but this meal just wasn’t what I was hoping for. I may consider giving it another try down the road, but for now, I’m pretty disappointed.
My recent visit to this Chinese restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The food was a revelation, a perfect blend of textures and tastes that delighted the palate. The ambiance was serene, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner or a family gathering, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations.
Din Tai Fung
I can say that we chose almost a perfect variety of dishes for the party. Each one was marvelous.okay they are pricey, no doubt, but you are also getting some high quality food. I didn't like the wait and the chaotic vibe of trying to be seated.once seated, we were inches from the people beside us. From the buns, to the side dishes and dumplings. Each dish was packed with flavor. Would I go back and pay those prices? Probably not since Chinatown has cheaper and more variety of selection. Worth a try though. I don't regret going.
The legendary dumpling spot located in the Del Amo Mall.. they have all sorts of fun small plates, and various dumplings including the ones that melt in your mouth. They are hand made in an open prep space you can see from the entrance and that comes through when you taste them. The place has tons of staff and is well managed. They get super busy but the service is efficient and everything runs well. The cabbage dish is simple and yummy.. and the chocolate dumplings are a sweet and unique way to finish a memorable dining experience.
Chinatown Express
Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the server was polite and the amount of food was good but the taste of the actual food and how it looked is a no go for me, tried it once and only time now. the orange chicken was terrible honestly, I couldn't finish it, the bbq pork was dryer than the desert, bit into un-chewable pieces, even the steamed rice was dry.
The was good I love that rice in orange chicken
Hong Kong Chinese Food
Love this place so much I come here after church, it's super filling the food is hot and they give you a huge amount of food! The Chile oil is a very good flavor and good price. And it's such a good price for the amount of food you get and the amount of flavor , I recommend!
Every time I come home to visit my mom and older brother, I always stop by here for a plate. Their food is absolutely amazing and the staff is also very nice as well! Highly recommend!
