First time in and lunch was super good, service was nice and really helpful we had soup of the day , tea, and kung pow shrimp

One of those family owned restaurants where you can get the most authentic Chinese food. Reasonable price. Service is slow but the crew is very friendly. Excellent Hot and Sour soup. I tried the Mongolian Lamb and found it delicious (I like hot dishes). I recommend this place.

Salt & pepper shrimp was great! Slightly oily but delicious. The vegetable chow mein noodles were yummy! And the Sauted cabbage was perfect. 45$ for 3 big plates of food. Will definitely be back!

Was in the area and got turned onto this place by a few friends. Was so good, we went twice in 2 days (once dine-in and once takeout). Both were amazingly good. Highlights: cilantro beef, dry hot pot, cumin lamb and spicy wontons. But everything else we got was good as well (although come prepared to eat some spicy food!) Service was warm and very good… was like dining at a family member’s house. Would definitely recommend!

Cool little place food is good! I love won ton soup and their barbecue pork fried rice & when I branch off for other tastes, I can say I’m well pleased. My favorite Chinese food in this area

This is my go to spot for Chinese Food here in Hayward. Portions, Price and Quality aka the PPQ. Honey Walnut Prawn Lunch special is a can’t miss.

The owner was excellent. 🙂. Wife had her veggies chow mein, we had generals chicken, Szechuan beef, and she let us try these semaseed ball dumplings things excellent. Oh and the war wonton soup 👍. We ate there but there was hella take out orders.

One of the best dim sum places to dine at! Had so much food that filled me up. The chicken feet was so tender and soft, the tripe was perfectly seasoned, siu mai was packed with meat, Chinese broccoli had a good amount of sauce to season without being overwhelming, yellow glass noodles were delicious and delightful, eggplant was crispy on the outside yet soft, airy and fluffy on the inside, but the piece de resistance was the accoutrements of Chinese mustard which cleaned my sinuses (a little goes a long way) and the chrysanthemum jasmine tea was excellently strong and fragrant while not being too overpowering, being a great palate cleanser to wash down the delightfully fatty and savory dishes. I would recommend the chicken feet so highly! Compliments to the chef because I'm coming back here again for not only the food but the Michelin starred experience I had!!! 😘🧑‍🍳

Excellent Cantonese style dishes that are prepared quickly. The salt & pepper pork chops were especially good. Eggplant was a little too oily and seafood in XO sauce was rather mild (menu said "spicy"). If they could pay more attention to service, this place would be 5 stars.

Came here for a reception after attending funeral services at Holy Sepulchre, which happens to be a couple miles down the road. The food is great, lots of options served buffet style. The have empty walls and large screen TVs for sharing memorial slide shows. There's a full bar on site so people have the option of getting or hosting beer, wine and cocktails. The staff is friendly and helpful, adding chairs as needed. They even offered to go containers at the end so I got an extra meal to go.

After studying all the reviews, it's disappointing to share that the food was not as expected, especially from a bistro on a Saturday evening. To start, I ordered the chef platter, which was like eating leftovers from someone else earlier in the day. The Peking duck was very dry, tasted old, was cut like it was prepped for soup, and it was clear that it's been sitting out. The Mushu Pork was smothered in soy sauce. What's the purpose of a hoison side sauce, if it was already drenched in soy sauce? The service was great, at least. Maybe I'll try again someday through recommendations from those who enjoy going to this restaurant.

Every dish was freshly made. My favorite dishes were the wonton soup, and the chow main the crunchy sprouts. Very busy place for takeout orders 🥡

Where do I start! The food was absolutely delicious. I had Thai iced tea, hot & sour soup, and chicken & broccoli. All of it was fire!! The service was amazing. Manny and Larry will take care of you! I would highly recommend Sunflower 2.

My God, their HONEY WALNUT CHICKEN is ridiculously delicious! I always ask for it extra crispy with the sauce on the side (so it doesn't get soggy) and extra sauce. It's like honey walnut shrimp but with chicken. I also get the beef chow mein mmmmm so yummy!! It's a little bit pricey but so worth it! If anyone ever wants to get me a gift for whatever occasion... This is it! 🥡🥢🍜💕

Just tried their generals chicken with fried rice. Good sauce however there was a bit too many sesame seeds. It filled me up, saved some to eat later. Not the type of place to dine in, given the inside only has a bench to wait for your order.

The plate size was absolutely huge, and the young man who served us was incredibly eager to help. His enthusiasm was truly infectious, and he went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delightful.

Food is excellent but the service is slow. Three times we have ordered online and promised 15 minutes only to have it take nearly an hour for a takeaway order. It’s not in the best neighbourhood to be sitting in your car for 45 minutes but that may only be my perception. Ding them one star for slow service otherwise it would be five’s all the way. Might try ordering 45 minutes early next time. The place is busy, so maybe that’s why it takes so long..

Have a amazing Chinese menu and flavor… the portions are generous so prepare yourself for a big dinner with a reasonable price ! 🤩🤩🤩 I will definitely come back if I can 🥰

Don't let the look fool you. They still got the plug on decent Chinese food. It's not the best, but it's filling and most of the time fresh. Some foods after the rush can be dry and over sauced. Thin noodles tap in.

Update: portions seem to be smaller than before. Also a few doughy pieces of fish and spicy chicken...but prices are still reasonable. Great Chinese to go dishes. Party trays also available. Very nice people. They don't cheat on quantity as well as quality. Very reasonable prices.

Really good food, I can't finish because of the large portions. I loved the chicken, I ordered the chicken fried rice, sesame chicken and orange chicken. The drinks are definitely cheaper than 7-11 would be, and if you ask for a bottle opener they will provide. Really good food and great service!
