I found this place after a long day of work. It definitely surprised me! It’s authentic street food. It has good food, good vibe, and good music. They have a pop-up live house. Make my day! You must try the beef or lamb sandwich, wide potato noodles, and Spicy Potato. And don’t forget to order Yogurt for dessert.

I’ve been a loyal customer ever since the owner first opened as a small food stand, and I’m beyond proud to see how far they’ve come! The food here is consistently flavorful, authentic, and comforting. The lamb sandwich (羊肉夹饼) is a must-try — packed with tender, juicy lamb and bursting with rich spices, it’s hands down one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The fried rice, lamb soup, and cold cucumber dish(凉拌黄瓜) are also top-notch, full of bold, savory flavors that bring me back every time. You can truly taste the love and care in every dish. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone who loves hearty and delicious Northwestern Chinese cuisine!

Amazing beef noodle soups. I got the tendon beef (medium spice) this time. Everything was so tender and delicious. Amazing portions, delicious chewy noodles. And you can't forget the house made pickled greens. I always add two spoonfuls. They're always super sweet and kind. If you're here, be kind to the staff. It's a mom and pop shop.

Wednesday 4/23/25 Dinner at Cindy’s Kitchen trying out their combination beef noodle. On my, it was so delicious and savory. The beef and tendon were so tender and tasty, the noodles was the right texture and firmness, and the soup base has lots of herbs and spices and perfectly balanced. This is my new go to beef noodle restaurant. There was only one female service staff working so it did took longer to order, wait for foods, then pay. It turned out true to reflecting the Heinz’s slogan, “Good things come to those who wait.” I recommend trying out this restaurant. David Young Restaurant Enthusiast

A hidden Chinese gem is what I can describe this small family owned restaurant. It’s actually hard to find cause it’s in a corner right after the 99 Ranch Market. The Chefs are all Mandarin Chinese and they take their cooking seriously. We thought about trying this restaurant out and we were not disappointed. Our server, Snowy was as very nice and attentive. She took our orders quickly. Our order came out fast and piping hot. We ordered Yeung Chow Fried rice, Shrimp & Vegetable pan fried, Grilled Pork Bun and Pork Chop.

What happened to this place ??? Dishes looks good but, tastes awful !!!! Too many things wrong with each dish, can’t describe them all !!!! Was told they changed cook. We took few bites of each dish and left the rest, it was so bad that we didn’t want doggy bag.

This restaurant offers an incredibly authentic Northern Chinese dining experience. Despite the entire building being under renovation, the restaurant remained open, and we were lucky to visit around 2 p.m. (just before their break time) without having to wait. The interior is beautifully designed to evoke old-time China, with every detail, from the decor to the bowls and chopsticks, capturing a nostalgic charm reminiscent of the Red Guard era. It truly felt like stepping into a cozy restaurant run by a Chinese grandmother. We ordered the Chicken Stewed with Mushrooms, served in a large pot with a timer set for about 12 minutes. The mushrooms added a rich, earthy depth to the broth, perfectly complementing the tender chicken. I visited with a Chinese friend who was thrilled by the dish, saying it tasted just like home. Next time, I’m excited to try more dishes, especially the Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork), and explore their extensive menu further. Highly recommended!

Very kid-friendly! If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Northern-style Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. Highly recommend for families and anyone craving traditional flavors.

Food is good. Whole place are clean and staff serve very quickly with kindness attitude

The environment is well kept and the customer service is splendid. Thus, I could not ask for much more from a food establishment. In reference to the food, I got the super greens, kung pao chicken, Beijing Beef, and Honey Walnut Shrimp (takeout small container). All was decent besides the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Maybe I got the bad batch of shrimp (the walnuts were fine). Surely I would not recommend it. But the rest of the meal was satisfying.

My first time visiting this restaurant. Since I'm not Chinese and not familiar with the menu, the lady patiently and very happy to explain how it works and options. Although I have nothing to compare, I love every topping that I put in my bowl and enjoy every bite. I'll definitely come back ❤️

New place open up hit it up by accident it was delicious and the service was amazing. Ate the whole thing

Inexpensive, but food is average. Food too salty, but service was slow, but quite pleasant. The best thing was the scallion flat bread. Ordered salted pepper spareribs, scallion flat bread, shredded pork with celery and beancurd, kungpao chicken, broccoli with fish filet and beef with eggs.

A little Chinese restaurant serves home style dishes. Dishes are generally authentic Chinese. Nothing fancy, but tastes good and no doubt Chinese. Pretty large selection and good mix of dishes. They also serve a few traditional favorites like dumplings, mini steamed bao, Chinese sesame bread etc. Dish price is in mid and low teens, pretty reasonable.

Decided to visit to this spot-on Thanksgiving Day 2023! Honestly, not sure what to expect, as soon we walked in, we were happily greeted and seated right away! I noticed there were a ton of to go orders. Partner and I were craving our typical Chinese food order Salt and Pepper Calamari – Crunchy, seasoned well, not too spicy Szechwan Eggplant – hint of spice, stayed hot (temperature wise) the whole time Beef Chow Fun w gravy – Tender beef, flavorful noods Duck – typical, very good except, it came out room temp. BBQ Pork – Typical and just like the duck – room temp. If you are in or near the area and can’t get to Alhambra or Rosemead, let’s say you live in Whittier, City of Industry, Avocado Heights then this is your spot. =) Missing star – I was quite surprised at the price of 2 Bbq item combo $31? Check out how small the portion was.

I was a regular at this establishment. Standard Chinese food, nothing amazing but the roast duck is decent. I used to buy roast duck here often but realized they started removing parts of the duck without letting me know. Last time, I was missing a whole leg. Every time when the roast duck was given to me with missing parts, I realized it was the same lady preparing my order. I believe she is the owner. It used to be a guy that prepared my roast duck and nothing ever went missing. But when she prepares it, she takes a cut without informing me. Removing parts of the duck I paid for without my knowledge is theft. This is stealing! I paid for the whole duck, not parts of the duck. I put this review up to warn others when buying roast duck. Make sure you have a complete order before leaving! Don't get robbed. I will never come back again, they have lost a long time customer for their greed and dishonesty.

Had breakfast at both their Rowland Heights and Diamond Bar places, and decided to give this place a try For $11.99, you can get a bowl of porridge, a side dish (fried noodle, or steamed vermicelli), and a coffee or tea. Porridge tastes great. The fried noodles are not hot enough. When it comes to service, I think the diamond bar place is better.

🍽️✨ The food here is fantastic! You can really savor the authentic Hong Kong flavors in every dish. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, especially since each dish comes with a plate of rice. We actually forgot about that and ended up packing the extra rice to take home. 🥡 Definitely a delightful dining experience! 🍚

Review for Cocoin Kitchen Thank you.🙏 I recently stopped by Cocoin Kitchen for lunch after seeing it recommended online, and I’m really glad I did. It happened to be lunch and so the lunch menu was a little less expensive. I proceeded to asked the waitress what she would recommend. She asked me if this was my first time there, I said yes. She went on to mention to try the pork chops.; So I did. I ordered the pork chops with spicy sauce, and it was a great meal. The pork chops were thin, lightly fried, and had a mild spicy flavor that wasn’t overwhelming but added a nice kick. They were very tender and flavorful. The meal came with rice, which made it filling and well-balanced. I also ordered a hot green tea, which was smooth and relaxing. Because I ordered it with my meal, the tea was half off, which was a nice bonus. The service was fast, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the experience even better. While I was eating, the waitress came over and let me know that the gentleman who had been sitting behind me had paid for my lunch. She pointed him out to me as he was getting into his car, and I was able to wave as he was getting into his car. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture, and it truly made my day. I would like to give a huge shout out to that gentleman for his generosity and kindness. I've never had anyone do that. The atmosphere was nice and calm. There were not very many people in there. I guess the weather outside, because it was raining, they just ordered takeout or delivery. Cocoin Kitchen also has a pretty large menu with a lot of interesting options, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try more. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all really good. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area.

The workers are very friendly, and they have me an extra side of rice because the to-go order was taking longer than expected. There are at least two dishes that I would order EVERY time I go there from now on. Get the XO Seafood Fried Rice and the French Style Filet Mignon.

Soooo good for authentic Cantonese food! My favorite dishes were the XO sauce rice rolls and the beef brisket noodle soup. The rice rolls were soft in the inside with a slight crispiness from being pan-fried. The beef brisket was tender and the broth had great flavor. Ok and their CHILI OIL. Excellent. I think they make it in-house. It has a nice, roasted chili pepper flavor and definitely packs a punch. The service was amazing. We called in advance for a party of 7 and they had our table ready right when we walked in. We were treated so kindly by the servers and the food came out quickly. Note that it does take longer for the rice pots and the rice rolls to come out. Ambience was lively but comfortable. Good for a party of 2 or 12. You can bet I’ll be here the next time my family and I are craving some Cantonese food.

Cozy Guangzhou style restaurant. Service is good. The owner will suggest their famous dishes but not everyone can accept her. Prices are reasonable. Sausage clay pot rice is very delicious. Beef Entrails are good despite no bad texture. Overall the food has a light flavor to me but is good to others. Probably come back to try other items in the future.

Clean, authentic decor, pleasant setting, friendly waitresses, spicy authentic Hunan flavors! Mapo tofu, walnut shrimps and Special Seethed Fish to die for ... at a very amazing price and generous portion. The best Spicy Food Restaurant in Southern California in the Valley rivaling Z&Y in Chinatown San Francisco. Gotta try this, feel really cleansing after dining here! The restaurant interior decor is NOT the usual tacky Chinese, this one is tastefully done however simple though not fancy at all. The outside restaurant front is part of a plaza difficult to enter from freeway 60 exit though parking is plenty and very practical as it is right in front of the restaurant. One can not find this restaurant easily thus remain a hidden jewel. The food is quality, incredibly tasting (with Szechuan super healthy hot peppers) and the waitresses are friendly (yah a much welcomed service:)

I have never been to a Chinese restaurant this bad! This is the worst. The Beef Broccoli sauce tasted like it was made with packet sauce sold at grocery stores. The orange chicken was tasteless and runny almost slimy the chicken was not fried or battered. For what it was very overpriced. Awful!
