Great experience! Exceptional food. We were traveling in the area and looking for a place to have a good dinner. This kept popping up as a recommendation. We came in to staff making hand pulled noodles. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and tasted amazing. We ordered the orange chicken as a starter, and imagine our surprise that it actually had citrus and orange peel in the sauce! Best noodles and dumplings I've had in years. Thank you for the fun and filling dinner. Restaurant was clean and the music was a good background noise not too over powering.

So good! Pan fried dumplings and the pork dumplings in chili oil were excellent. Fast prep and served hot. The restaurant was clean and had great seating too.

Ordered kunpao barely any chicken Ordered brócoli and beef no beef like two pieces 😂 don’t go here if you tryna reach ur protein intake Got ripped OFFF 😂 where’s the chicken 🥴

They have pretty good Chinese food here. You can get both pre-made and cooked to order dishes for a decent price. Even though it's a bit of a wait and costs a bit more, I'd recommend getting your food cooked to order. They taste way better. * Kungpao Chicken 1/5 - This was more Kungpao Vegetables than Kungpao Chicken. I found 2 small pieces of chicken and that was it. It wasn't cooked to order so the protein ratio may have gone down as the day went by. * Honey Walnut Shrimps 4.5/5 - Very tasty and yummy shrimps. They gave a lot and didn't skimp on the amount. The honey coating was a bit thick, but overall a good dish. * House Special Fried Rice 4.5/5 - Tasty combination fried rice that came with shrimp, beef, chicken, eggs, and vegetables. * Orange Chicken 4/5 - Good, standard dish. * Beijing Chicken 4/5 - Pretty good for a pre-made dish.

Google was showing this place as temporarily closed, so I had to go by and see for myself. I was getting takeout throughout the lockdown, so I was concerned that I might have lost one of my go to places for quick dim sum. This place is really good, very reasonably priced and the ladies are super nice. Go early in the day to make sure they still have everything. I went right before closing (7pm), so they were out of a couple of my favorites. The ham sui gok and har gow are really yummy.

Incredible hidden food spot . All dishes were incredible. I came for the Sui Gok, stayed for the chicken feet . Don't forget to pickup a drink in the grocery store. They have tables next to the food

For years I've been watching Korean elders come here after church and almost exclusively order the red soup. Finally decided to try it myself and unfortunately it doesn't quite match with my tastes. The soup tasted very bland, although there was plenty of chili. The ingredients were fresh and it was a very voluminous dish. Fell short for me on taste though. I'll try something else down the road.

A hidden gem of delicious Korean food! Located sneakily inside of the grocery store and in the corner of a seemingly empty food court, this place will treat you right, and more. Black Bean Noodle: Get! This is what you're here for and it's so delicious. Coat your noodles in this soft and savory sauce you'll be coming back for seconds in no time Spicy Seafood Noodle: Get? It's PACKED with seafood flavor and spiciness and gives you that real authentic Korean seafood soup taste. The only downside is that it packs a punch and if you are brave enough to take a sip that soup, you might need a glass of milk nearby just in case Fried Pork: Skip It's still tasty but I wish it was crispier and more savory Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Value: 7/10

If you’re in the mood for some legit dumplings at a great price, Crystal Dumpling delivers. You order at the counter and wait for your food, which is super chill once you figure out how the setup works, it’s a bit confusing when you first walk in. The food? Solid. Authentic flavors that hit the spot. Their milk tea and iced tea are great, too. That said, everything comes in plastic to-go containers, which feels a little excessive. I get it, it’s convenient, but I’d love to see the owners consider more sustainable options. Now, about the chili oil. I ordered the wontons chili oil, and they were good, but the portion of chili oil was tiny. Like, enough for one or two dips, and it’s gone. When I asked for more, I had to pay extra. I don’t mind paying, but c’mon, it’s wontons in chili oil, make it generous! On the upside, the staff is friendly, so no complaints there.

If you’re in the mood for some quick and casual dimsum, this place satisfies the cravings. We ordered the pork & shrimp shu mai, shrimp rice rolls, bbq pork buns, and spicy wontons which were all decent. The HK lemon ice tea was good too!

portion was huge, dumplings were crispy on the outside and soft inside, battered shrimp was so crispy and delicious with the sauce, beef with the veggies was amazing quality, black bean noodles had fresh veggies as well, and the assorted veggie and meat plate was delicious 10/10 recommend!!

Portions and Prawns are huge. The kimchi is sweet. Mien is umami flavored with chew. Great value and flavor but bathrooms need a makeover. This is conveniently located in a strip mall next to automotive repair and maintenance shops. You can tell they are great value and taste when you see a bunch of business men and their constituents dinning with Tsingtao, Cast and Soju. Make sure you get the 3 flavor Chachiang Jiajang mien and not the regular which has no chunks of shrimp, scallops, squids, and crispy pork. We also added shrimp fried rice and fried meat dumplings. I want to come back to try the sweet and sour pork/chicken and jjambong.

I've been stopping by here for just over four years. This restaurant is run by an older Chinese couple who are very, very friendly and truly courteous. Since covid, they have closed their dining area and only have take away, which is not a problem for me. As for their food, their ingredients always seem to be fresh, the meats are tender and flavorful and the seasoning is flawless. I love getting food here. Last time I did so, I took my food, drove to the nearby Target parking lot (where I later did some shopping), lowered the tailgate on my truck, and had myself a tasty picnic. Ain't life grand? I recommend you give this little restaurant a try. You could be pleasantly surprised.

Baby Panda was a pleasant surprise! Their food is delicious. Orange chicken, Kung Pao, Spicy Chicken, even their House Chicken. All delicious. I love their chow mein. Rice is good too. Ever since I discovered this place with my partner, it's become a staple. My favorite place in the area without a doubt! They are also incredibly kind as well, nice mom and pip place that deserves continued support, and we will continue to get their food. Highly recommended to anyone who loves Chinese food!

it looks like a neighborhood small restaurant. It has about 6 tables and good selection of specialty food in Garden Grove, California. Food items are presented in photo type display on counter wall. The Counter has the food in a hot plate environment front glass and top covered. You can get the one item, two item, three item dishes or other specialty dishes. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. One lady was the person asking you which item you want and putting it in a serving box and the other lady is the cashier. Both are friendly and they say good bye to you, when you leave. This is my second time here. First time without my wife, and second time, i brought my wife with me. Now i will go to the Barbershop next door, "Sammys" and grab lunch afterwards. Most of the clientele look like local workers and neighborhood folks. One last thing. They have fountain sodas and bottle sodas. The fountain sodas purchase allows for one free refill. Additional refills are 50 cents.

Now talk about good Chinese food. Respectfully, holy crap! The vegetables. The rice. The proteins. Every single thing is cooked perfectly, and when it’s not good any more they switch it faster then I could literally see. Every bite makes me want more. And when it comes to service, they knock it out of the park every single visit. The employees are are the nicest and most polite people I have ever had the pleasure of being served by.

First timer.. and I was amazed by the service and the food quality. Family owned and operated this family puts all their love into their food and you can just taste it 😋!! I order the szechuan beef and I ate every bite.

I finally got to try Ta Chen. I read the reviews beforehand but I was between errands so I only got take out. I got the sweet and sour pork lunch plate and ordered extra egg rolls and egg flower soup. You could tell it wasn't some frozen stuff that they warmed up and threw sauce over. The sauce was more sweet than sour but soy sauce fixes everything 😁. The pork was a little bit overcooked but cooked through so that's okay. The egg rolls were basic veggie and the egg flower soup was piping hot, the way I like it. I can't wait to go back for a proper sit down meal. The restaurant reminds me of the old Chinese food places my parents would take us to in Hawaii wayyyy back when. No frills, no extravagance, just freshly made food eaten on Formica covered tables and upholstered benches. It's a tiny place but the woman that helped me was kind and may've been the owner. A good first time experience and alternative to the stuff they sell in those Chinese fast food places where everything tastes the same and costs too much.

Excellent 🙂and this evening made it official! FAIR AND 🟧 great food as always ➕ "paper packaging" for a first🙌🏾😁😏 I'm satisfied! No brand new plastic containers needed for this type order 😌✨👍🏾 🤔I don't have to feel like I'm getting over or taking advantage of well behaved business people for THE NEW YEAR!!! I'm happy...

Not the best Chinese food I have ever eaten, but better than a lot of nearby places. The hot n sour soup is pretty tasty. Kung Pao Chicken sauce and flavor was great, texture of the chicken felt like it was cooked too quick (a bit firm). Good beef and broccoli. Looks like a family run business, hardworking people.

This restaurant is awesome, the food is fresh, the taste is excellent, the service attitude is very good, it is a restaurant that people keep coming to impatiently, I wish the boss a prosperous business and a lot of money

The restaurant was very clean and bright. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced we were shocked. I’d recommend the egg rolls and orange chicken, my bf recommends the wontons. And, the lady cashier with the red hair was so friendly and helpful. It filled up while we were there, and she was nice to everyone who came in. We’re definitely happy we decided to try something new today.

Shout out to the friendly staff especially the tall Hispanic guy who work in the kitchen and the girl who re-prepared my food. I placed an online order to pick up at 1:00PM but wasn’t able to pick it up until 7:30PM and he offered to re-do a new order for me because it had been sitting there for a while. That’s very kind and thoughtful of you to make sure your customers’ best experience! Thank you so much! 💯

It’s a Panda Express location… Nothing better, nothing worse. Just Panda and all of the standard Panda Express food you know and with either love, or hate. They are most definitely NOT true classic and authentic Chinese food. It is VERY Americanized and bland on flavor and bite. But, that what they are known for. It’s Chinese style American made fast food with basic decor and flavors. They recently had some price hikes and are slowly working their way to a price point where real authentic will be the go-to over them hands down. The Orange Chicken is 75% breading and doesn’t really have an authentic mandarin orange kick and bite orange chicken lovers, love….. The Fried rice has no real flavor and the chow mien seems to be a bit too oily for a good taste palette. The Kung Pao is not bad, but the chicken is fatty. This goes for the chicken in general, including the teriyaki chicken. They used to serve the teriyaki sauce hot, not you get in a packet at room temp. Big loss in the points section on this review. The sad thing is, the sauce had the most flavor out of everything else… So you be the judge. But spending $25 on a couple of plates of basic fast food American Chinese is a real, HARD PASS, net time we are thinking Chinese for lunch in the area. From picture, you can see, this place is NOT crowded and low in customers who feel the change like I do…. * PIC taken at 12:30 on a Friday lunch rush on a busy road in the middle of a shopping strip mall… *
