Just amazing all around. The cabbage is savory. The pork and pepper/mushrooms are amazing. The luffah was undersalted though. I didn't care for the chicken tomato/potato pot but it's objectively cooked well. The mushroom stir fry is a must get. Cauliflower is cooked perfectly. The sour fish fillet is mid

Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Mateo county even before they moved from El Camino to Marina Foods plaza. I loved some of their lunch specials and although they kept on raising prices but at least they taste good. The service is good as they would wrap leftover food for you instead of just throwing you some togo boxes. This place used to focus on Hunan but probably sensing a lack of Yunan cuisine they are branching out to Yunan food. I don't think they are that authentic but at least they are delicious. I really like their Farmers Combo (egg, pork, wood ear mushroom and other stuff), spicy and sour beef, and Iove their conch with special mushrooms. Their spiciness is authentic so when they say original spicy make sure you can hold your spiciness before being gunho about your tolerance to spicy food. The place is not large so you may have to wait in the weekend. I do think the price is too high now especially their frog dishes but I still decided to keep the 5 star rating because it is still one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the Bay Area. Oh you can also find parking in the rear or side if parking at the front is too crowded.

It was awful. I wish I would have kept walking towards Marketplace @ Metro Center but was hungry. Watered down Hot & Sour soup, dried out white rice, low budget cuts of chicken. The soup served in a paper container from another store. Food served in white styrafoam to go container. I was dining in, this apparently is how they serve. Any good reviews must be mixed up w/Hot Wok Bistro (Burlingame) which is decent. I don't eat out much, what a HUGE disappointment to waste money like this. The Diet Coke, served in a can (no glass or ice) was by far the best part of this "meal". Never going back, lesson learned.

Ping's Bistro was packed so I came here instead. What a mistake! Hunan Shrimp was surgery sweet and Salt Pepper Pork Chops was all salt and no pepper (and unnaturally pasty white). Rice was old, reheated from days ago. Funny how they serve dishes in to go containers? And also odd that I was only customer on a Sunday night. The table felt like it was going to collapse. Worn out chairs. Lesson learned.

ordered through the mobile app at 9 pm for pick up at 10. ordered a plate: half fried rice, half chow mein, orange chicken and chicken with strings beans. picked up the order but it was in a small bowl. didn't think too much since I had to go home. when I opened it they just threw all the food together, the portions were off-more chow mein than rice and I didn't get the orange chicken! if they had ran out of it they should have told me. service at this location is getting bad.

Chinese fast food chains of rice. Basically fried rice, chow mein and stir fried dishes, and fountain sodas. The service was pretty quick considering the line. The staff was skillful in scooping the food into plates. They always asked anything else to mane sure you got all orders before payments. We ordered 2 plates (2 entrees and 1 side each). The fried rice was pretty plain and dry, but chow mein was good. I personally liked their shrimps, especially honey walnut shrimps. My husband, on the other hand, preferred the broccoli beef. Overall, except the fried rice, the rest were delicious. Oh, and they give free fortune cookies per orders.
