Fresh Wok
This is my mom's favorite spot to get Chinese food. The food tastes pretty darn good & the prices are alright. The only thing I sometimes have trouble with is understanding what the workers are saying to me. Their accents are a bit thick, but I really like how fast, kind, & respectful they are. There's always a good variety of choices & food's always hot & fresh. I've never sat down there to eat (I always do take-out), but there's plenty of tables for people to sit & eat. Everything looks like it's maintained & cleaned regularly. I give this place a 10/10
I started eating before I started the review š¤¦āāļø This is the 2nd location of theirs I been to & it's actually better than the 1 I went to in Eastvale but that 1 is good too. I got the BBQ chicken, chicken wings, fried rice & chow mein. And for a drink I got the Thai Tea Boba. I got fingerprints everywhere, even on my phone & book because I kept stuffing my mouth before I made it back to my room. The plate is my own, the food comes in a white box thingie like usual. Highly recommend.
Ping's Bistro Fremont
The food and atmosphere is good! Also some main dishes can tell that are prepared earlier but the flavor is nice. good for sharing with friends and will recommendčå¾äøé„! The price is a little bit pricy but normal in Bay Area
We came here for the second time to try their new mushrooms dishes. Last time when they first lauched the Yunnan serials food, we were surprised by the flavor and creativity however this time the new fried rice and steamed egg custard taste a bit flavorless. Donāt get me wrong because I still think they are good food but the mushrooms fragrance was not strong enough and didnāt seep into the other ingredients well enough. There is room for improvement. I still recommend the other Yunnan dishes like simmered rice and potatoes in copper pot, pork fat fried vegetable, mixed mushroom fry with cured meat and the seasonal drink.
Jade Restaurant and Lounge
Good for what it was, so much onion that wasnāt pictured on the picture of it. The flavor is there but also not really, adding Siracha made it somewhat tolerable. I also wish they added Chinese broccoli or something $90 on 2 meals 2 drinks and a soup. š prawns+broccoli added beef with medium rice and orange chicken with large rice and large egg drop soup which were all really good 2 sprite
they delivered quickly and the chicken was still crunchy! we got the spicy garlic tofu and the honey walnut chicken. they were both really good!! we got the large (32oz) or rice to go along with our two entrees and it was more than enough! :)
Friendship BBQ åę 客串 脿é å¾
Enjoyed everything we tried. Next time want to try the other hot dishes. Staff was very kind. I do wish there were more descriptions for the other dishes. When we saw the dishes on other tables we were so intrigued to try something different. Next time:)
I hade a foodie Griggs that I do hot pot with all of the time. This one makes the top ten. But they should give options to customers for spice levels. I like spicy but not endnotes I can't taste the actual food and I'm sweating profusely. But still good food. Service was great and the food came pretty quick.
HK Dim Sum
I wouldnāt say Iām a dim sum expert, but I can definitely say Iāve had better. Food is hit or miss, nothing really in between. Menu items are limited. Service is fine.
The roasted duck I got from the store is gross. I normally buy from the king BBQ. Just being lazy and go to them because it's closer. I'm pretty sure this one is not made the same day. It's sooo greasy. There is a thick layer of fat underneath the skin and the skin is not crispy at all like from other stores. ... And it's more expensive. Do not recommend.
Spicy Style of Sichuan
Real Szechuan foods - delicious but very hot and spicy. If you don't want too spicy, ask them less pepper. The place is pretty clean but little noisy. I ordered boiled spicy fish fillets and spicy crisp pork tripe. Both are like 2-3 serving size.
Love the stir-fried beef, so tender and flavorful. The cilantro really adds extra fragrance to the dish, itās a bit spicy to me but still good. Cauliflower is also tasty, make sure to stir a bit so every piece is fully cooked. The jelly with brown sugar sauce is a perfect ending for our meal, itās not too sweet and erase the spiciness in my mouth. Although I wish it could be slightly icy.
Chiang's Gourmet
So glad I finally went! I checked out the vegetarian and vegan options, I have been missing vegan Chinese since Bamboo Garden closed. The vegetarian sweet and sour short ribs were so unique, savory and you can eat the "bones!" I have never had vegan dan dan mien (homemade pan fried noodles), it wasn't very tingly but still tasty. LOVED the fried pumpkin with salty egg, delicious, super savory. I got takeout but I would definitely dine in too. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with booths and big dim sum tables, plenty of folks eating midweek early dinner. Nice people.
Donāt let the outside appearance dissuade you, itās delicious! Our host was very friendly and the smell of tasty food greets you right away. Highly recommend the Mongolian Beef, General Tsoās, and sesame noodles.
Lum-Yuen Restaurant
Went for the lunch special specials. Wife got the daily special (sweet sour shrimp, pork chow mein, pork fried rice) and i got the conbo 4 (see menue photos). Restaurant had 10 to 12 tables full. Our order was taken quickly, hot tea came out right away. Moments later, our food arrived. Good quantity for the price and was filling. The menue items were fresh, tasty, and did not disappoint.Place was clean and the servers were friendly even though they were clearly busy. Upon my request, they brought out hot oil and chilie paste. They do have saracha. Personal preference though for golden crown chow mein instead(less celery). Oh, the fortune cookies are fantastic, something to look forward to as we finished the pot of tea. Overall, lunch was very good and will go back again.
Always have great Chinese food! We never get a bad entrƩe from here. The prices are good and the service is great..
Shun De Mom Northgate
very yummy beef and rice. made extra spicy as requested. Mmmmmmm 11/10. I recommend the Pepper Steak.
BEST Chinese Food around NorthGate! Have been there for many, many times. People there are friendly and the food is always freshly made. Going there for a lunch box! They always have some great Chinese stuff during lunch worth trying. Small tricks to avoid wait too long: call to order in advanceš¤š¤
Ivy's Chinese
excellent customer service! above & beyond. my fault. I tried something off the menu & it didn't appeal to me. we enjoyed everything that we ordered on the menu esp the fresh veggies! cas atmosphere & welcoming greeting upon arrival.
2024-October There were ample complimentary parking spaces conveniently located in front of the establishment. The service was prompt and exceptional. The quality of the food was inconsistent. The establishment was well-maintained and hygienic. Bon AppĆ©tit š
ChongQing Xiao Mian
Overall the food was tasty, both soups beef noodle and spicy Szechuan were good overall, not the best ever but still reliable and not too pricey.
We had our family dinner here last night. The food was just AWESOME! It gave me a big surprise with the taste of the food! I would say itās the best Szechuan food in the Bay Area! We talked to the owner and she is originally from Szechuan and the whole staff are from that area. That is why they have the most authentic Szechuan cuisine.
Tian Fu Seattle
I recently visited Tian Fu Seattle, and while I had hoped for a satisfying meal, the experience fell short in several ways. The first thing that stood out was the self-service nature of the place. While thatās not inherently a problem, the serverās actions were odd. Despite the restaurant being practically empty during my visit, they seemed to do the bare minimumādropping off food without much effort or engagement. As for the food, while the portions were impressively large, the flavor was severely lacking. Every bite felt bland, as though their focus was entirely on quantity rather than quality. If youāre someone who values taste and attention to detail, this might not be the place for you. Overall, Tian Fu Seattle may appeal to those who prioritize getting a lot of food for their money, but for anyone seeking a flavorful or attentive dining experience, Iād recommend looking elsewhere.
We ordered Spicy boneless chickenļ¼and the small dry pot spicy chicken wings with rice and two milk teas. We also added two extra portions of vegetables, but honestly, the cauliflower and other veggies that came with the dish were already enough. The flavor was great, the portion was generous, good price and worth it.
