Paradise Dynasty
Want Chinese food but going with a group of 2? Paradise Dynasty is it. The first time I came here I got the rainbow XLB, but actually everything else is even better!!! There is nothing bad on the menu. The chef specials seasonal menu if you want to be extra fancy is fantastic. The wonton mala noodles has the perfect amount of mala, where you can still talk to your date without your nose running 🤣. Pan-fried Shanghai rice cakes has a taste will take you back home. Jindu pork ribs(sweet and sour pork) is a dish most people will find comfort in, especially kids. Don't forget to order a garlicky leafy greens! Pea shoots is a great value. It is priced the same as spinach and broccoli on the menu but costs around $5/lbs at the groceries. Shout-out to Hendry, he's always attentive and brings good vibes 💖
I stopped by for lunch and decided to try the signature original Xiao Long Bao chicken served on a bed of flavorful chicken fried rice, paired with a refreshing sake. The dish was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked! The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The restaurant was impeccably clean, which added to the overall positive impression. I highly recommend this place if you’re at the mall and looking for a quick yet satisfying bite! 😊✨
Mian Sichuan Gourmet Noodles
Mian has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots for comforting, flavorful Chinese soups and noodles. The menu is packed with options, from spicy beef rib soup noodles to Chengdu Zajiang rice noodles and golden soup chaoshou dumplings. There’s a clear emphasis on hearty broths and balanced spice, and every dish I’ve tried so far has been deeply satisfying. The soup noodles are the real stars here. The broths are incredibly rich and clear-flavorful without being greasy, and perfect for warming up or just seriously hitting the spot. My favorites include the Spicy Beef Soup Noodles and the Clear Broth Beef Noodles. The noodles themselves have great texture, and you can choose between wheat and rice noodles (gluten-free upon request), which is a nice touch. The appetizers are also worth exploring. The Thousand Year Egg with Tofu, Fried Chinese Donuts with Sweet Soy Milk, and the Mian Cold Combo (with Spicy Black Fungus, Radish, and Beef in Chili Sauce) are all standouts. Everything is full of umami and perfectly seasoned. Dumplings and chaoshou are also excellent, especially the Golden Soup Chaoshou and Chili Oil Dumplings, available in small ($9) or regular ($15) sizes. Pricing is fair and very reasonable considering the quality and portions: - Most appetizers range from $6–$10 - Noodle dishes are generally $13.50-$16.50, with some premium options like Spicy Beef Rib Noodles at $20 - Dumplings and chaoshou fall between $9-$15 - Fried rice is $13-$16, and sides start as low as $2.50 - Desserts and drinks range from $2.50 to $6 Portions are generous-you'll definitely leave full. And even the dumplings, like the Chili Oil Chaoshou or the Golden Soup version, are flavorful and well-crafted. If you’re craving bold Sichuan flavors, silky noodles, and soul-warming broth, Mian is a must-try. Highly recommend.
I love their chewy noodles. The beef soup is very favorable The chili oil dumplings tastes so good. Their appetizers are great compliments to their main dishes. You can choose the spiciness of each dish. Great restaurant! Will definitely come back to try other dishes.
Din Tai Fung
Food was good here. The pork chop fried rice was tasty. And their Xiao Long Bao is always popular here. We tried crab and kurobuta pork xlb again and it’s still our favorite. For the appetizers, we had Taiwanese cucumber salad and wood ear mushrooms. They are all amazingly good. Don’t forget to have chocolate and mochi xlb. It’s a nice dessert at the end of meals.
We were walking through South Coast Plaza around 2:30 and noticed no line. We put our name in and received a table notification 30 minutes later. Our hostess was lovely. Our server, Jackie was spectacular offering us the best tips on plates and dipping sauce. The food was divine! Chicken fried rice, crab and pork buns and spicy pork and crab wontons. Ridiculously good!
Northeast Sisters
Very satisfied regular customer; my go-to for exceptionally good Chinese. The menu is based on foods found in Northeast China, and to be honest, standard American Chinese is bland to me after eating this... Delicious, hot, fresh and made to order... I get delivery or takeout whenever I'm in town (they have curbside pick-up). The veggie grilled cold noodle is one of my favorite foods (I add enoki mushrooms, grilled onions and cheese). Veggie pancake also delicious - both of these entrees are so much better than the description reads, I tried them because I read a review that said they are a must-have, so now I'm telling you that you must try them! Masala salad (for veggie lovers who want a little broth), instant noodles, and veggie hot pot are all great. The spices for the hot pot are a real zinger; be sure to add a note during checkout if you selected "mild". The owner is very personable, she recognizes my name and makes certain my order is prepared the way I like it, even after being away for months (and I always look forward to returning). Reach out if there's a problem with your order, she's eager to correct it. So grateful they're open until 3am and if more quality restaurants had these hours, it would be so much easier as a night owl to eat healthy! I seriously ate here two days in a row when I first found it... I couldn't help myself! A close friend is Chinese, and I can't wait for him to visit and be impressed. Look for the sign that says "TACOS" - they share their entrance with other restaurants and that marks the spot.
Hidden Gem. Order online or by scanning the QR code at the door and pay online. Your food will be brought out to you. Service by Erin was first class, very friendly and provided outstanding customer service. Food was delicious and very well presented. They're open until 1am which suits my mid night cravings.
Hong Kong Express
Meh. First time trying this place based on some of the reviews and I would say it’s about average or maybe a little bit less flavorful than Panda Express. $12 for a rice bowl and egg roll.
It’s a solid spot for American-style Chinese food—big portions, friendly service, and honestly, better than Panda Express. But let’s be real: you need to know what you’re signing up for. I’m currently experiencing what I can only describe as a controlled demolition of my digestive system. The food was absolutely delicious, but it’s like swallowing molten lava and waiting for nature to hit the reset button. Not necessarily unpleasant—just a thorough, FDA-unauthorized gut cleanse. Would I eat here again? Absolutely. But next time, I’m bringing Tums and a seatbelt for the toilet. Solid place.
Golden Dragon
Golden Dragon is a family favorite! We have been coming here for years, making the drive from Riverside, and it's well worth the drive! The Aromatic Shrimp is amazing! The Their Honey Glazed Walnut a shrimp is the best!! Our daughters favorite is the Chicken Chow Mein. Any of the Fried Rice dishes are great, but ours is the House (it's a mix of all of them)! For appetizers, we love the egg rolls!! The service is top-notch! Everyone we bring here gets hooked! Tip: Eat family style so you get to try all the delicious dishes picked by others. You won't be disappointed!😋
We've been here several times because the food is GOOD!!! Gotta have the sizzling rice soup...we got it for 4 people and stuffed ourselves 😆. Orange chicken is good as well as the Mongolian beef! Shrimp fried rice was delicious!!. Friendly atmosphere and good service. Definitely a go-to.
Hong Kong Express
To bad experience..... I was there and ordered chicken fried rice! Chicken looks weird! Taste weir! Doesn't looks like other times! Anyway I usually go there when l have time l don't live around!
love this place family operated, good food at cheap prices the portions are ENORMOUS so you will always feel satisfied and have possible left overs for a future meal. The service is great, the quality is good, and the restaurant feels clean.
Big Chopsticks
this place isn't even a place as far as I'm concerned. you walk in, order from the huge screen as the lady just stands there behind the window/counter just looking at you. like why can't you just walk in and up to the counter and place your order with the chick behind the counter.... it makes no sense at all what so ever. definitely not a very friendly environment or people really. they need to smile every once in a while and talk with your customers instead of sitting there staring at them putting their order in. just my opinion. and the food really isn't not the greatest. not worth visiting a second time that's for sure.
I recently had takeout at this Chinese restaurant, and my experience left much to be desired. If you're expecting a menu with 2-3 entrees that come as a set, this is not the place for you. Everything here is separate – sides, entrees, drinks, you name it. While I appreciate variety, the issue arises when the pricing doesn't align with the quality offered. I opted for the Orange Chicken and the House Special Beef, which supposedly boasts Angus Beef. However, I have serious doubts about the authenticity of the Angus Beef claim. In fact, I was so disappointed that I took the step of submitting a complaint to the BBB, suspecting that several advertised aspects of this place might not be accurate. Regrettably, I have to be honest about my experience – the price point does not justify the quality of the food. In comparison, a visit to Panda Express would likely provide better value for your money. Despite the convenience of a quick turnaround on a Tuesday night, where my food was prepared within 10 minutes, this was the only positive aspect of my visit. It's disheartening to share a negative review, but I believe in transparency and providing honest feedback. In conclusion, if you're seeking a Chinese restaurant that delivers on both quality and value, you might want to explore other options. My experience, unfortunately, did not live up to the expectations. While it may seem harsh to put them on blast, my intention is to share my genuine encounter and help others make informed choices when choosing where to dine.
Mo Mi Mei
Great spot for lunch! Had "In the mood for love" (pork) as glow up, and "Pearl river" (shrimp) rolls with a side of pickled veggies. Both were good but the pork roll was my fave! Would recommend 1 roll per person. It looks like a lot but 1pp is definitely doable. Service was friendly and fast! Interior decor is very cute. Will be coming back!
Mo Mi Mei has, perhaps accidentally, created a new genre of lunch spots: "slow casual." I came in around 1:15pm on a Wednesday and was delighted to see that each order was freshly prepared. However, my delight turned into horror when I realized they were only operating with a single machine for the steamed rice rolls, creating an unfortunate bottleneck for the main thing on their menu. I waited 36 minutes after placing my order before I received my one plate. I actually saw another couple give up after 30 minutes of waiting, cancelling their order and walking out without anything. I saw multiple delivery app drivers having to wait around for a long time too, probably because the restaurants is currently promoting a BOGO offer on Uber Eats, perhaps further adding to the bottleneck. My order of the Pork "In the Mood for Love" (glow up version) was fine, but certainly not worth the wait. The portion was filling and $14 price was fair. I'd advise the team to invest in getting a second steam machine and also informing customers about the current wait time before they place their order. It would've been nice if they offered a free canned drink to make up for the delay, but perhaps the employees aren't empowered to do that by their managers.
No.1 Chinese Food
Best bang for your buck! The portion is stupidly enormous. For $10.99 only, you get to take home a 2-item combo that lasts you 2-3 meals. On top of that, the owner said they made their food every 15 minutes to keep it fresh. My favorite dish is their Jalapeno Chicken. Best chinese food in town! Highly recommended!
This place was horrible. The eggroll was burned or cooked and recooked it was very greasy. They also delivered without any kind of sauces for the rice we ordered AND there was no silverware in the bag for us to even eat with. The rice was non flavorful and each meat in the rice tasted like it had been cooked and recooked. Bad all Bad
Panda Express
I visit this chain in many cities. This location food was less the par. I got more onion than noodles for the chow mein. I ended up trashing my food instead of enjoying my dinner. The chicken was also cooked way under very chewy. It was by fair the worst food I have had in a while. I hope the manager will deal with this. Picture shows what should be chow mein but is clearly not.
I would not recommend this place, because if you order the bowl you going to eat chow mein 90% and only 10% of meat 👎🏻
