Eggroll King
The teriyaki chicken is amazing love how moist the chicken is it's my go to with beef broccoli and orange chicken. You have to try the egg rolls.
Great tasting food and always a quick and seamless paying experience. Would recommend if you want quick and tasty Chinese food!
Chinatown Express
This is a basic Chinese restaurant where the ladies are constantly talking in Cantonese. I was surprised to find great food for only $9.91, including tax. The portions are generous.
$11.23 for a combo B. It was actually pretty delicious. The spicy chicken was cooked well and not oily. Especially the BBQ pork. Little to no fat. And was definitely served a lot more then expected. Good for the price. It's worth coming again. And the lady who helped me was nice and quick too.
Dragon Chinese Mongolian BBQ
Believe it or not, the sauce on the sesame chicken and orange chicken was top tier. Sticky, sweet with a decent crunch. They get a solid B+ in flavor on these item. Also, I got a bowl of egg drop soup, and my 5-year-old ate 3 bowls. It had tofu in it also, which I thought wouldn't be good, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Went here for the first time today with my husband and two kids. The Mongolian BBQ is amazing for the price! We made two large bowls and we were all able to eat for $27. That price is unheard of when it comes to good quality Mongolian BBQ. Before we left, I ordered some Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings (my favorite) and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. I should also note that the customer service was excellent. The guy who helped us out from beginning to end was awesome and really nice to talk to. We can't wait to go back!
Super Wok
Fried rice was mushy not fried at all and I got it fresh orange chicken was decent some pieces were more fried than others pepper chicken had way too much pepper more onions n pepper than chicken never seen this much oil in Chinese food very greasy
Food is old and is drenched in oil. Customer service is terrible, very ignorant and rude. And charged us for 1 small cup of sauce that we didn't even get.
Panda Express
Stopped in for lunch, I really liked the food and service! the food is very tasty and fresh! inside is clean and pleasant to be in! I liked it very much! I will visit more often! I recommend visiting!
I didn't eat here but damn the restrooms are SO clean. I've never seen a panda express restroom so tidy. Shout out the workers here. Every store should strive to be this great
China Express
First off, right off the bat, amazing service! Super nice staff, quick and delicious food 🤤 with plenty of choices, vegan friendly options too! I didn't get the lovely ladies name but she was so kind and attentive 💕 Came in nearing closing time, so they were short on a few items. I waited, not for long, for some steamy delicious goodness, fresh new batches! The cream cheese wontons are bomb!! A bang for your buck too! Sprinkled with sugar 😋 so yummy! I'm sad I don't live nearby but I have a place to come back to if I'm ever in the area.
Food is not very good. Looked kind of fresh but did not have that good taste. Dont think will come back
Panda Express
This place is the worst Panda Express I’ve encountered. I paid $12 for a medium side of honey walnut shrimp, to which they gave me a half empty container. When I asked the workers to fill it up, they lied to my face claiming the shrimp medium side came with 14 pieces. I’ve never seen a panda worker counting shrimp when I order them. And to make matters worse I got home and counted only 12 shrimp. The fact that I had to go home and count the shrimp was ridiculous. Extremely poor customer service skills. Also, my trays of food were very sloppy because the server was too busy talking to her friend that was in line behind me instead of doing her job. I was ripped off on my shrimp side. I was not provided the full amount of shrimp that they claimed was supposed to be there, and when I asked them to fill it up, they didn’t care and wanted to turn me away. The real issue is that their lack of foresight to know how much shrimp to have on hand, because I was shorted shrimp, so that they can leave one serving left in the tray in case somebody else asked for it a.k.a. the kitchen had fallen behind, and had not cooked enough shrimp. The shrimp was soggy and not Panda Express quality. I’m also still waiting for corporate to get back to me because I deserve to be compensated for this lack of food that I had paid for and no I will not be coming all the way back to this Compton location I was in the middle of a move and now no longer anywhere near here. Another issue is I ordered chicken teriyaki and because the worker was talking to the lady in line behind me, instead of doing her job, my chicken was dry with no teriyaki sauce on it at all. Furthermore, I ordered wontons and I receive no sweet-and-sour sauce. All this location cared about was taking my money and shooing me along. In addition, there was another issue that I asked for Beijing beef and she scooped string bean chicken into my plate and when I told her that’s not Beijing beef, she was so confused had no idea what I was talking about and then just scraped out string bean chicken from the train instead of serving me a new tray like she should have because she put the wrong item in it. so unprofessional and again it’s because she was so busy talking to the girl behind me that she personally knew. she’s on the clock and should not be having personal conversations while she’s working because all it did was make me have a very poor experience. Rude workers who care more about chit chatting with their friends and making up fake rules about counting shrimp. You guys are not doing your job because I as the customer already expressed that I was unhappy with the quality and quantity of my shrimp having to go home and count it is horrible. Leaving customers. Dissatisfied is a no for me. Especially at the crazy price of $12 for a medium side. And don’t be confused by the image below some of these were so soggy that the shrimp came out of the honey walnut batter, so it looks like it’s more shrimp than what it actually is. I know how to count but the workers don’t.
This place was doing pretty good. After the pandemic, this is the best place for the following: - VERY small food portions - Long waits - Food with NO Flavor - Rude employees. I don’t usually write reviews, bad service, I’ll let it go. Ridiculous small portions, I’ll let it go, but this time, inside my orange chicken, “A LONG HAIR!!!”, yeah, this is unacceptable. I’m disgusted to even explain. My fingers in my mouth to get the hair out. So, one star, but actually it’s a negative 5. Location: Gateway Towne Center
Super Wok
The service is excellent and also friendly employees. Though for the food, it could use some improvement, it tasted like if it were sitting for some time. I had the broccoli with beef, and the broccoli was sauggy. The orange chicken was great, not an issue, but for the fried rice, it was not the best for two plates. It cost me 26 dollars, somewhat an okay price. I'm from a different area near South Central, where I pay roughly 22 dollars(for two plates for one, it's 10 dollars) for my local Chinese fast food with fresh items. (Near South Central Ave and E Washington Blvd) The food over there is excellent. Hopefully, this place can improve its food quality other than that the employees are excellent no issue at all.
food is bad and old the service is bad cashier is so rude is really bad bad experience i personal don"t recommend this place ☹️
Chinese King
Their wonton soup was awful. The soup itself had a bland taste and on top of that the broccoli Wasn’t even cooked so it was very hard. The meat didn’t come inside of the noodle but instead it was falling out or not even in the noodle. If you want a good wonton soup I suggest going to Long Beach Thai in DTLB, or Oishi Teriyaki and Sushi in Paramount. Their Chinese food is OK. Out of 5 I would give it a 3.
Go to Mamas.. is the best to get place to eat Chinese food from. The service and servings qty are great .
