As someone who can’t have gluten, this place scratches my Chinese food itch so good! It’s nice to be included or thought of and more importantly, the food was amazing! I drove from Fontana and I’ll do it again and again! Lady up front was wonderful. Just ask for the gluten free menu! I had the walnut shrimp and beef and broccoli!

Good customer service and delicious food! Yan is really nice helping me :)) Definitely recommend !

We 10 came here for a cozy birthday dinner. We ordered 9-10 dishes, all food were very good, only minus point that ruin our dinner was the steam rice. Food was that good but steam rice was very very dry and hard, it should be used for fried rice not steam rice to eat with main dishes. We could not eat only food without steam rice, you will feel very salty without steam rice. The rice was included in the dishes we called but rice was too bad so we gave up on keep eating, asked boxes to bring left over food home to eat with rice at home. The biggest mistake of many restaurants that I have been eating is they underestimate the importance of steam rice, they think only good food is good enough to make customer satisfied but they forget that customer can not eat only food without adding rice ( as asian). One another thing the chicken look very raw as picture, I know the cooking technique from Chinese for Hainan chicken style need meat a little bit pink but here it was red. We did not touch and asked to bring home. I hope you improve your steam rice. Saving cost is important but not on rice the basic one.

Great traditional Chinese food. They have onsite BBQ station. The BBQ duck was so good. I think the have dim sum all day menu. The place is very well decorated. Food came out fast. Their food is very tasty. Definitely will come back more often.

Extremely impolite employees. I visited to order food, and the woman snatched my debit card from my hand and processed the payment. This has happened twice now. Each time I visit, they display a poor attitude and lack of hospitality. It's wiser to spend your money at a place that values you and treats you respectfully.

Great Quality. Best Prices. Super fast even when they are busy!

Second time experiencing malatang. Small but nice and comfy restaurant. A lot of ingredients to chose from especially the proteins. I chose the mild soup base but the spice can be adjusted at the condiments area which also has seasonings like grated garlic and chili oil. Fairly priced. Overall a great dining experience.

Pretty great options! Would recommend coming here with picky friends because there is so many options and ways to customize that there’s something for everyone! The base was pretty good, although the mild was hardly spicy at all; my non-spice-eating friends didn’t have trouble with the mild. I would recommend choosing spicier.

Wife and I went to Happy Hour 3/10 Chino Hills. Trevor was our bartender / server and took fantastic care of us. Dude had a huge smile on his face and was genuinely happy to be there, a rare trait these days.

Sat at the bar to watch football and enjoy the early afternoon. Bartender was great, sweet young female. Food was again Delicious! Drinks were on point! Love me my Lemon Drop Martinis!

Very small and serene spot with very good food. I must return and try all the other many options. The noodle dish i tried was very good. Delicious and piping hot. Definitely recommend this mom and pop place.

Nice casual restaurant serving delicious food. We enjoyed the good food and friendly and attentive service. My son likes the Taiwanese fried chicken and they have it here and it is very good. The fried tofu was very good as was the stir fried green beans. We also had the crispy pan fried noodles and they were very good. We had got food to go from here several times and it was our first time dining in. We will keep Happy Kitchen on our rotation !

Here for family dinner. Portion is big! Foods are tasty, bit salty; however, after having dinner there, feels like super thirsty ( yea might have lots of msg) Service was great, if you pay by cash, can get 5% discount

Ordered various dishes and each was tasty. The staff and owner were very friendly. New remodel space with very comfortable booths. Will be back again.

Highly Recommended for Work Lunches & Student Meals! service Good . Recommend Beef Roll Cut into six small pieces, each one packed with tender beef, fresh scallions, and rich sauce. Every bite is full of real, hearty flavors — once you start, you just can't stop. Tomato Beef Noodle Soup: $13.99🔪 This dish isn’t spicy at all. You can actually see chunks of tomato in the broth, clearly simmered to perfection — no wonder the soup tastes amazing. The beef comes in large pieces! I have to say their beef is really well-prepared: tender but not falling apart, juicy without being dry — just the perfect texture!

My new favorite noodle bowl I ordered the minced pork noodle medium spicy and it was the perfect bowl to have on a cold day. Little bit spicy with great flavor. The peanuts and vegetables give a lot of good texture. I ate it up and kept thinking I want another one right away. I'm getting one to go for dinner, it was that good. Prices were awesome and food came out quickly. This place is going on the rotation.

I stumbled upon this place on a Saturday when my original brunch plans fell through. But I was very pleasantly surprised. This place is amazing. I knew from the peking ducks hanging at the front door and the auntie that greeted us that this place was gonna be amazing. You order on your phone and the food comes out shortly after. Service is honestly so nice too. Auntie is very polite and kind. Food is out of this world. Peking duck is so fatty and juicy and amazing. Shumai is so hot and delectable - got two orders of that. And the dried scallop fried rice so cooked so perfectly. So fluffy and light - was the perfect base to all of the indulgent food we had. We absolutely demolished all of the food we had. This was some of the best dim sum I’ve had.

Update: we’ve returned again. As always, the Cantonese dishes were authentic and very tasty, and the service was friendly and efficient. I surely don’t understand the low scores from other reviewers. This place is worth a try if you haven’t done so already. I tried the bitter melon with beef. It was excellent as the Mellon was crispy but cooked and the beef was very tender. Its flavor really reminded me of tiny shops in Hong Kong. This is a great under the radar dim sum place. There are several dim sum places in Chino Hills and I think this is the best. They have limited dim sum dishes and certainly not as good as the ones in Hong Kong or Guangdong, but for Chino Hills I think this is a great place for dim sums. The duck is on the lean side, but pretty good. Most other dishes we had were decent, though nothing special. The service has always been friendly and good. During COVID, we were grateful this place stayed open for takeouts and we did just that many times.

We’ve been coming to this Shanghainese restaurant ever since it opened and the quality and the tastes have always been consistent. Today, we’ve returned after a two-month break and found out the dishes tasted different. The beef buns (牛肉包子)were pretty good, may be a tad better than before. It would appear that there was a new management/ownership and staff since our last visit. Our regular servers were no longer there and there was a different chef. Although the dishes tasted different, they were fine (though we do miss a little of the old tastes) and will probably come back again. There is a 10-year anniversary sale going on right now (time sure flies) and you get a 20% discount. So, it’s probably worth a try to see if you like the new chef and tastes.

This is a really good Chinese restaurant in Chino Hills. Considering their current 20% off (Anniversary.) I get they are short staffed but when I do choose to eat Chinese food, I prefer the food come out all together or close behind, having to wait an additional 10-15 mins for our noodles when the salt and pepper squid, rice and Chinese pancake was out and already getting cold on the table was the main reason they are missing a star. The ambiance is clearly Asian and décor is of the Lunar New Year. The customer service was good but the service was very slow.

Delicious. I recommend you guys going there!

I’ve tried getting boba here multiple times and every single time they’re closed over 2 hours early. So I come here a 7:30pm-8ish and they’re already closed but they claim to be open till 9:30pm on their website. One time I walked up and a guy that worked there gave me a weird stare and then went back in and started eating his food with his coworkers even though THEYRE SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN. I’ve had it with this place and I highly highly recommend trying any other boba shop. Go to Tastea or it’s boba time. They’re super good and have a grade A.
