the man taking our order, jason, was extremely rude and inconsiderate. the tables were sticky and the vibe was just off 2 of my friends were given bowls instead of plates, which they paid for. overall, not a great experience which could have been better in many ways didn’t get a fortune on the fortune cookie

It’s like mall food court Chinese food in Knott’s Berry Farm. The orange chicken was good, broccoli was broccoli, and chow mein was average. Does the job of feeding you Asian inspired flavours in the theme park and it’s part of the dining plan so that’s a bonus.

The parking space is a bit small, but you can park on the side street. The food is delicious, the sauce is rich in flavor, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a small but cozy space, making it suitable for small groups, couples, or families.

It's small in size but feels very clean. The servers are also fast and friendly. In particular, the jjamppong is large in size, plentiful, and the ingredients are fresh. If you want to eat Korean-style Chinese food, go there.

Beware of being charged twice. I'm lucky I caught it thankfully my card is connected to my phone and I'm notified when it's charged when I asked the manager ,after I got my refund , how that could happen, he just says "it happens sometimes". Nope, No good!

Don't order online here. Their workers cleared my online order as "complete" at 6:38pm. So I showed up at 6:45 to pick it up. It wasn't ready. They just lied so that they wouldn't get in trouble for taking 50 minutes to fulfill an app order. My food was ready nearly 20 minutes later, at 6:57pm. They didn't even bother offering a free appetizer or something for lying and wasting my time. I won't be coming here again for A LONG TIME.

Quick Chinese food. I usually don't stop at fast food Chinese but I needed something to stop my stomach from grumbling and I didn't have time for a sit down restaurant. This location was the most clean one that I've been in. Atmosphere was large and bright. I could tell This was a popular place in the areas for families and others alike. I had the mushroom chicken and egg rolls. Both are what I needed and had very good taste. I would go back to this location.

I bought two lunch boxes with 3 dishes, and the ingredients were all burnt. Also put bad vegetables in chow mein, too bad

Dear restaurant management, Thank you for consistently providing our family with enjoyable meals over the years. As a long-time customer, I wanted to share some feedback from our recent visit, which I hope will contribute to further enhancing the dining experience. While tipping is a widely practiced social norm in the U.S., it is not a mandate. Typically, customers tip based on the quality of service received—higher tips for excellent service and lower tips for areas needing improvement. It felt unusual when, after we paid our bill, the restaurant owner (or lady in charge) returned to inquire about the "lower" tip we provided. This interaction felt awkward and uncomfortable, especially given some service issues during our visit. For instance, a server spilled an alcoholic beverage on a family elder and did not offer an apology, simply walking away. Additionally, despite ordering additional items, the check was delivered instead of the requested food, creating confusion and leaving our family dinner on an awkward note. I share this feedback in the hope that it encourages greater attention to customer service. Exceptional service not only enhances the dining experience but also naturally results in more generous tips. We value this restaurant as a long-time customer and look forward to seeing improvements during our future visits. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

It's a pretty good jjampong spot in Buena Park! A Koreanized Chinese comfort food spot. It's been a few years since I last visited, and current owners have it right with jjangmyun and Jjampong. Noodle portion was on the light side. Service is prompt but not very friendly. Maybe the server was having an off-day. Restaurant is fairly tidy. I would definitely visit for another craving of jjangmyun.

To be fair, I can’t rely comment on atmosphere once this place is located in a food court. Be advised there are two food operators here but under the same name of Mao-Shiho - one is the Chinese restaurant and the other is Japanese selling their tonkatsu. I happened to order from both sides and it appears that they work from the same kitchen so that meant while one side was cranking out food, the other side waited. Ordered he jajang myeon from the Chinese side and the King Donkatsu from the other. The jajang myeon looked good and was tasteless. My friend also ordered it and thought the same so I wasn’t alone! The King Donkatsu is impressive in size alone but size doesn’t help taste! The meat was overwhelmed by the outer batter and wasn’t very tasty. The presentation on a skillet was the most memorable part of the meal because the katsu was the size of the entire skillet! The meal was pretty underwhelming and 3 stars is on the generous side since it’s not a place we’ll return to. I also included a photo of the regular size donkatsu for scale.

The food was just ok but lady was super rude. She did not even know what she is selling. I asked spicy level (kiosk had less spicy, 1, 2, 3). She did not know what is medium. She was definitely bothered when I asked. She asked to just select anything or less spicy. ???? Basic communication cannot be done with this lady.
