The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.

NYC Chinatown vibe. Food was OK but not worth a drive, not sure what Eater was smoking when they say it cannot be missed.

4.5 stars. Great experience! We came here for dandan noodles and left with a tasteful journey of some authentic flavors! It is always said that the more Asian customers you see at an Asian restaurant, the more authentic it is. Well, this restaurant only had Asian customers! We ordered the Dandan noodles and the Beijing Style soybean paste with noodles (basically a Zha Jiang Mian). The portions were quite large. The Dandan noodles were very good, but they had the Szechuan peppers, which brought that numb feeling I'm not a fan of. Other than that, the noodles were very good. The Zha Jiang Mian was very good, particularly because the pork pieces were minced, which I enjoy more than bigger pork pieces. The pricing was reasonable and there is a lot of parking outside the complex. Great find and we will be back in the future!

I recently dined at Shang jie kitchen and was thoroughly impressed with the authentic flavors and attentive service. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor and prepared with fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the beef noodle, which was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations. Overall, it was an unforgettable dining experience, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their delicious offerings.

4/20/2025 = 5 star = 2nd time here and bring entire family , still good experience, we never have issue, will try again soon . 3/23/2025 = 5 Star = First time in here, we've been craving for Dim Sum and this is the only place serve all day Dim Sum , I been to a different Dim Sum place and this place I can give 5 star for now, coz the serving is pretty fair or better than other place I go. I will try to visit again soon and we will see if they are consistent on the service and food .

We were craving dimsum and we wanted to try a new spot so we decided to come here. I was very excited because of the high rating and the pictures food look good. However, the food was decent but nothing spectacular but the service was unfortunately poor and we had negative first time experience because of that. First of all, the person who was helping us had poor communication skills we had to explain every word and repeat multiple times, the food didn’t come in time for example we ordered chilly cucumbers and they never came we had to ask and remind them so they brought it at the end, we received couple orders that were sent to a different table we had to correct the waiters. It was just a mess I think they should invest in training the staff and let people who can communicate well in the front. Moreover, the understaff restaurant will create a negative experience for customers so maybe they should hire more people.

I love YGF so I’m glad that they open one in Artesia! You choose your own malatang ingredients and they cook it for you. A lot of toppings to choose from. They have beef broth, tomato, Tom yum, dry mix, etc. I would recommend the beef or tomato one. I also tried their squid skewers which is very flavorful with spice!

First time trying YGF Malatang and wasn’t disappointed. You choose your food with veggies then they weigh it and cook it for you. Different broths to choose from and levels of spice you want. Be careful with the spiciness cuz I got mild and it’s probably medium for other places. Overall good experience. Food is good, broth is delicious. No issue coming back here.

A small local business offering Taiwanese food. The interior is older and aged. The parking directly in front can be a problem but there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center. The staff is nice and friendly. We’ve been going here for years and I feel like perhaps they have a new chef because all the flavors seemed off in some way. The menu has a lot to offer so you are sure to find something you like.

They have the Economic meal. You can choose 3 dishes for around 30 something. Chicken with sesame oil and bean sauce. Beef with Chinese Broccoli. Bean curd with pork.

Ordered the roast duck egg noodle soup $14. It was a big bowl with 4 chunks of roast duck breast, a very good deal considering the whole roast duck sells for $32 to go. The taste and flavor of noodles and soup were delish, authentic Cantonese, exactly like in Vietnam. I wished I ordered $3 extra noodle. The shop also sells BBQ meats to go, duck, chicken, pork. Recommended.

DINNER BEWARE. They recently started charging 15% on all dinners regardless the number of people in your party. There is no sign or indication that they will charging you the automatic 15% tip. I was with another person. Their food is still the same but the quantity has gotten smaller. Automatically charging 15% tip on all dinners was a turn off for us, so we will not be going back.

EXCELLENT!! Time for our lobster feast on Thanksgiving Day. Ordered House Special Lobster, combination fried rice, and egg drop soup. Everything was amazingly delicious flavored. Love the lobster gravy and everything in it. So yummy, i wanna eat the shell too lol. Services were awesome. Casual dining with delicious food! Top it off, our server packed our food for us to go; i was about to do it myself but she did it so that was a surprise. I'm a happy bee!!

It's our first visit and it happened to be a lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't too crowded but it seemed like the staff were all preoccupied. We stood for several minutes and waited for someone to usher us to a table. We almost walked out after several minutes of waiting, until someone cleaned the nearby table and with an apologetic look, led us to our table. They served roasted peanuts as appetizer. No one came around to give us a menu so I went to the counter and asked for a menu myself. I scanned the room and no one seems to think to service our table until I locked eyes with the person who seated us She finally walked towards our table and took our order. We ordered all classic Chinese dishes: wonton noodles soup, honey walnut shrimp, clam with black bean sauce, and chow fun with beef. They redeem themselves with their food. The servings were generous, all food tasted great. My favorite, hands down would be the soup and honey walnut shrimp. June took care of us from beginning to end. She checked in on us frequently. She was polite, respectful, and courteous. We will come back again for sure to try out other dishes.

Food is fresh and delicious in generous portions. The hand pulled noodles are exceptionally good. Service was beyond expected for food court. This place did have different owners in the past. If you had not so good experience before, give it another try. Highly recommended.

Got the beef and lamb noodle soup. My kid found the food so appealing she used chopsticks on her own unassisted here, it was a miracle. Food is well cooked and the owners are very kind. Would recommend for a quick meal after grocery shopping for the week.

Honestly I don't understand the bad reviews. My husband and I absolutely love their food and love supporting them. My favorite thing about this restaurant are the cold dishes. You seldom see restaurants with a cold dish bar like this these days. The restaurant is clean, it's clearly a small family owned business that's trying to keep it traditional, price is extremely reasonable and portions are GENEROUS. Not to mention the food is very very authentic and delicious. We don't live nearby but a lot of family does, and when we're around we only come here. This place is great for take out and dine in is always nice too, never a wait. We just love supporting them.

I love coming here in weekdays. Cold dish & wontons are good. If you work around and want to have some authentic Chinese food, just give it a try!

Based on the numerous negative reviews on Google, it appears that my experience at Hong Kong Express was not an isolated incident. The food was not only unappetizing, but it also made me sick. The beef smelled like a wet dog, which was utterly disgusting. I would strongly advise staying away from this establishment, as there is a high likelihood that you will also get sick. After this unpleasant experience, I can confidently say that I will never be returning to Hong Kong Express.

The food here is pretty good. Selection is not vast, but the food itself that they do serve is pretty bomb. That said, the servers here are spot on quick. They don't seem to linger around chat with each other like other places do. The quality of the food is also pretty good. Your noodles have a better flavor. Not so greasy. I also tried the beef broccoli and the Teriyaki chicken. Both are pretty satisfying and we're not overly heavy. Overall, this is a pretty decent spot. They'll take your Visa card, but I think that's about it.
