Top China
It’s astonishing that this establishment can serve this food. The chicken breading is mushy, and I even found hair in my meal. The texture of the chicken is also weird.
This place has gotten so busy that they can’t keep up and the quality and customer service has gone downhill. This is my sweet and sour chicken. No sauce, just chicken. I called a few days ago to order ahead and for 20 minutes the phone line was just busy. Tried again today and the phone would ring and then disconnect. Tried several times again. I decided to stop in on my way home and see if they were having phone issues. The girl at the register was answering the phone, so it seemed to working fine. Placed my order and waited 20 minutes in my car. After my 15 minute drive home, I open the bag and find this. Very disappointing. I think I’ll need to find a new Chinese restaurant.
Mai Chinese Food Trailer (Food Truck)
For the price and the quality you can not beat this place for Chinese food! If y’all are open on Christmas, I will be ordering from you that day and driving from Fayetteville to pick up 🫶
The Orange Chicken was more like Sweet and Sour chicken. Chowmein there was something off about the flavors and the noodles were very thick. The Crab Rangoons were very good, but anything deep fried usually is. I will be back to try other items.
Panda Express
Panda is one of the best places to feed your family. The price is amazing for the amount of food you get. I can spend $40 on a family meal, (2 large sides, 3 large entrees) and feed 2 adults and 3 kids. And i have leftovers for 2. There aren’t any other places that give you that much quantity of filling food. And the food is always delicious.
We enjoyed a lunch combo at Panda Express with Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Mushroom Chicken, and Veg Spring Rolls. The Kung Pao had a nice spice, and the Mushroom Chicken was tender and flavorful. The Chow Mein and Fried Rice were well-cooked and satisfying, while the spring rolls added a crunchy touch. A solid, tasty lunch!
Yummy House
My husband wanted sushi and word of mouth was this is a great place to try . The food was so fresh . The staff was attentive and friendly.there was plenty of seating and the restaurant was very clean .
Food is okay, egg roll is no awe factor it’s more less a bland filler, same goes for the general tso chicken… sauce is bit on the runny side, and chicken has a weird taste… could use some seasoning on the batter that may help with this. Fried rice? Well it’s no wow factor either, Soy sauce and a hint of fried egg… could use some actual ingredients even for “lunch” menu. Service is alright, and atmosphere surprisingly pops out at you when you walk in… Take this review with a grain of salt, some of y’all may not know what really good Chinese Food is… this may be the only thing you’re exposed to. I eat at a lot of different Asian spots all around, not just Northwest Arkansas.
Rainbow House Asian Bistro
So the place was clean, I can say that. Everything else was disappointing. Allow me to explain…check out the pan fried dumplings from the deep fryer, look at the kung pao shrimp with pineapple and button mushrooms- no chilies! egg foo young with packet gravy…hot and sour soup (flavorless) with egg strands, tofu, cabbage and more button mushrooms. Everything had bagged frozen peas and carrots- except the fried rice, where it should be. No soy sauce, hot mustard or duck sauce for eggs rolls. The egg rolls were the best thing we had. Just super disappointing all around, definitely won’t be back- that was fifty bucks.
We decided to give them another try after not having been in 6 yrs because the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. In their first few years the food was great! It was our favorite place to go but it had gone down hill. We kept hearing people say how good it was so we decided to give it another try after all this time. Big mistake. We got the General Taos Chicken and Cashew Chicken combo plates. The egg rolls were total mush and smelled terrible. Both our main dishes stunk and tasted terrible. The chicken was greasy and overcooked so it was hard, almost like it was old and recooked. The sauces were awful, the peas in the fried rice were dried hard, and the cashew chicken was a good 75% diced carrots. The scent of all of it was strong and gross and very hard to get past. It was so awful we couldn’t eat it. We tried to suffer through because it was our supper and we had paid good money for it. We couldn’t do it. It was that bad. And we aren’t overly picky people. We can usually suck it up if something isn’t up to par and isn’t spoiled. We got it as take out so our house absolutely wreaks from how bad the food smelled after we opened the containers and the food isn’t even in here anymore. The smell was so bad we sealed it all up and took it outside and put in the shop fridge until we can dispose of it. I’m sad to say it is far worse than when we quit eating there 6 yrs ago. We will not ever go back. I am struggling to understand how anyone could pick this as their favorite or recommended them as being great. I hate leaving this kind of review and try to leave positive ones every chance I get but I feel honest reviews are needed especially now when money is tight for so many and eating out is a treat. People need to be able to see honest reviews before deciding where to choose to spend their hard earned money. And there is also the hope that such reviews can help the restaurant take the necessary steps to improve. They don’t know what’s wrong if people don’t share their experiences.
Lin's Garden
I tasted a little bit of everything, except shrimp (can't abide it), and I was impressed. Everything was flavorful and it was decidely my favorite Chinese restaurant I have been to. The food was all warm and fresh when I went. There are some foods that children would enjoy, but if your kids don't like Chinese, they probably would not enjoy this restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful as well, each table has a unique design and the whole restaurant is really beautiful. The server was super friendly as well. Some points of note. For starters, it is a buffet. It is $14.99 for weekdays (I went on a weekday) and $19.99 for weekends (more options for food). Second point of note. There are quite a few gluten-free options. If it is a serious allergy, it might not work because the gluten-free entrees are next to not gluten-free.
Used to love to eat here but not any more. The last couple of years the food is worse than the time before, barely warm and certainly not hot. Lower quality of ingredients too. Was there for over an hour and never offered a refill on our empty drinks. No desire to ever eat there again.
Panda Express
Food was ok. Service was good but I said twice that it was for here and they put everything in a bag. All tables were dirty so I had to clean one with a napkin in order to seat at a “clean “ one
I have ordered consistently at this store online for over a year without issues, but recently no order has seemed to be right. Of my last 10 orders, 7 have had some issue with them of either missing or incorrect food,. The food here is delicious if you get what you order but I cannot for the life of me give it any higher until they can learn how to get what you ordered properly again. Staff is friendly, food is good, but I want what I order.
P.F. Chang's
Someone (corporate) help me understand what just happened here. We go here at least 1x per month. Man, this is just disappointing for one of our go-to restaurants. If I wanted my kids to have drive-through quality chicken, I would’ve taken them to… I literally can’t think of a place that offers lower quality than the chicken included in our honey chicken meals tonight. This used to be (maybe 2 months ago?) big fluffy traditional honey chicken. Maybe 4 or 5 pieces for kids. But We ordered their honey chicken tonight, and they changed the product - it was like remarkably dried out popcorn chicken and with more popcorn than chicken. Please, PFC, do not cut corners. You’ve made my night harder - Kids notice, parents notice; my kids will maybe eat the rice tonight. You are a premium restaurant- stay true to your brand. Until you’re back, we won’t be.
Top notch place! Our go to when we're in town. From the moment we walked in, to when we exited, excellent customer service. Madison was our server. She was one of the best we have ever had. Took care of my bride for her 🎂. Accommodated Dozer my service dog very well and asked us where we would like to sit even though the place was hopping. I didn't get the managers names but very friendly. No surprise they were a recent restaurant of the year.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
We ordered Spicy General Tso's chicken, Kids Firecracker chicken, and an egg roll. However, we received the regular Firecracker chicken instead of the kids' version and were charged accordingly. Additionally, the chicken in the fried rice was undercooked, and both the General Tso's and Firecracker chicken were overly oily.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen offers a variety of Asian-inspired dishes. During our visit, the teriyaki chicken was flavorful and satisfying. However, the chicken wings were undercooked, resulting in a slimy exterior and poor texture. This inconsistency was disappointing, especially considering the restaurant's generally positive reputation. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was courteous. Pei Wei has potential, but attention to cooking techniques is essential to ensure a consistently enjoyable dining experience.
China Cafe
I have been here a couple of times and really enjoy this place. I nicely decorated and small family owned restaurant where they make you comfortable and are very attentive. On this visit I had the crab rangoon and hot and sour chicken. A very large order of 10 rangoons came, they were hot and the stuffing was delicious. The hot and spicy chicken had a very nice light breading and the chicken was very tender. The dipping sauce was excellent. I took about half the food home for another meal. Service was good and price very fair.this is the best Chinese I have found in NWA.
My favorite dishes here are the Mongolian beef and Szechuan sliced spicy fish clay pot, so flavorful and well cooked. Absolute value town lunch menu. Service is always great. If I lived closer I’d be here all the time! Ditch Panda Express and get some of this if you’ve got the time.
Hibachi Grill Buffet
I come here about once every 5 years to give an honest review. it's been about 8 years since my last visit and sad to say that the food is just about as bad as Chinese buffets can be. The hot and sour soup was one of the few dishes I enjoyed. The won tons, egg rolls, and fried shrimp were among the very few dishes that were at least edible . The salmon was fishy and terrible. The rice was very dry and clumpy which is a very strange combination of bad. The fried fish was very strong pungent taste and very bad. The general tsous chicken was soggy and the worst I've ever had. Walmart does a much better version In the deli and even Panda Express is gourmet in comparison. The only saving Grace at this restaurant was the excellent and friendly service of the mid aged Asian lady who waited on me . She was kind and made this experience somewhat tolerable. I was hoping the food had improved after all the years but sad to say it's gotten worse over the years.
The lo mein wasn't done. The rice was crunchy, the beef and brocolli was cold. The staff was rude. The fried shrimp.was good tho. That's about all the good I can say. Used to love this place. But $45 (2ppl)for that kind of food won't happen again.
Hunan Chinese Restaurant
Purposely ordered a ton of food because I wanted to try their menu and have leftovers. Got a lot of bang for the buck with 4 dishes for just under $45.00. Food is great, good mom & pop, non-chain, Chinese. My wife who doesn’t always like Asian foods, loved this. We will definitely be back - my favorite was the shrimp egg foo young.
Cashier was very nice, food was fresh and there was a lot of food for the money but was disappointed when they got my take out order wrong. Asked for chicken chow mein and got a plate with everything but chicken chow mein. Not to mention was I was eating my chicken lo mein I found a string of fiber maybe from a rag or mop mixed inside .. lost my appetite after that. Was my first time here and will be my last.
