This is the true definition of mom and pop hidden gem. The food is fresh and incredible. Not your typical Chinese American takeout. They have traditional items such as Hainan chicken and beef stew noodle soup. Tucked away in a busy gilbert area. The prices are amazing, definitely the best bang for your buck and quality in Gilbert.

Their food is really good and the price is surprisingly cheap. I could not believe why they are not famous. I couldn’t finish my portion, so much food and rice. However, just an FYI, this is more like a self-service restaurant.

I come here pretty regularly for your standard Chinese takeout—lo mein, fried rice, General Tso’s, all the classics. The food is always solid and hits the spot when I’m craving something quick and comforting. This time I decided to switch it up and try the buffalo wings. Gotta say, they were actually really good—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. But be warned: these things are flamethrower hot. I like spice, but these wings don’t mess around. If you’re into serious heat, they’re worth a try. If not, maybe have some milk handy. Overall, still one of my go-to spots.

Ok, I gave this place a couple chances and just can’t rate higher than 3 stars. Part of dining out is the allover experience, and the guy that’s been at the counter both times we visited is nearly comatose. He doesn’t even smile. The woman who works there is very nice and friendly. The dining area seems relatively clean, but there are boxes stacked in the hallway leading to the back that are unsightly. I couldn’t see much in to the kitchen, other than a bottle of cleaning solution near the cooking surface. Regarding the food, I ordered chicken with black bean sauce this time (one of my favorite Chinese dishes). The black beans were crunchy and the chicken kind of tasted like fish… I completely understand Serrano the paper plates and plastic utensils (you get what you pay for), so that wasn’t really an issue. I’ll come back again because my husband likes it, and third time is the charm, right?
