Wong’s Chinese Restaurant in Phoenix is an absolute treasure! From the moment you step in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. Their house fried rice is my all-time favorite—it’s packed with savory flavors, perfectly cooked rice, and a generous mix of meats and fresh vegetables. The egg drop soup is another standout, with its silky texture and comforting, rich flavor that feels like a warm hug in a bowl. The menu offers an impressive variety of options, but these dishes always bring me back. Add to that the exceptional service and cozy ambiance, and you’ve got a dining experience that never disappoints. If you’re in Phoenix and craving Chinese food, Wong’s is a must-visit spot!

Very polite and quick service. The dining room was clean. everyone looked happy and we're visibly enjoying their meals. We ordered chop suey but I don't think it wasn't what my husband expected so he ordered orange chicken as well. The flavor was good but it was like an old batch of chicken mixed with a fresh batch so some pieces were over done and some were perfect. Not a deal breaker but could have been better. I had the chicken curry, very delicious 👍🏾. The egg drop soup is perfect, it has a lot of veggies and tofu in it. We like it here best and we went to Liyuens and new garden! If you don't get the combo meals the items on the menu come family style. We didn't mind having extra food we have plenty of kids at home and they enjoyed the food as well. The prices are not outrageous and all around it was a good experience and I'm glad we live nearby. This is our new spot for sure, thank you for having us

I'm visiting Phoenix for the first time I researched Pete's Fish and Chips before showing up. They are as proud of this establishment as El Paso is proud to call Chico's Tacos their own. I knew in advance you have to eat outside at a picnic table and that you are to eat with your hands. No plastic ware is provided. It is cash only. I ordered the #2 special (2 fish, 7 shrimp, fries and a 32 oz. Drink. I paid an upcharge for substituting onion rings for fries. I asked for a magnet souvenir and the girl asked "nuts or no nuts?" I told her a magnet like you stick on a refrigerator, not a brownie. It took 3 tries to get the magnet. It was free. Although it took a while for the order, it was hot and fresh. I expected some tartar sauce but instead received 3 cocktail sauces. It worked. The fish were small and square, like McDonald's. The shrimp were a breaded strip that contained small shrimp. The printed hype didn't match reality. San Antonio easily has better chain establishments, like J. Anthony's or Sea Island. I was greatly disappointed.

Prices are good! The breaded items I got were amazing. Fish, nuggets, shrimp wow definitely reorder. The fries and burger and corn dog was generic I'd skip them next time. But all that for like $30. Pete's sauce is kinda spicy but it was good! So I came back 2 hrs drive away and the service was still amazing and they even gave us two stickers. Food is fresh and tasty. This is great priced good food.

I decided to try the classic Poke bowl and it was very disappointing. When I got there I asked for asked for Diet Coke and the girl at counter said they didn’t have any. A guy interrupted her and said they did have it but then suggested a different drink. I decided to just get a sparking water bc I felt like there gonna give me regular coke lol. The rice was very hot and the tuna had hard and soft texture. I asked i kindly asked if I could get a refund but they said they could only exchange it for something else. The guy looked annoyed that went up to say something about the food tasting weird. They didn’t even apologize even tho I had barely took a few bites. I decided to choose the Phili cheese steak moms way. It was okay, it was was bland and the bread was also soggy. The whole layout of the place was also confusing, it’s basically four different restaurants into one.

Went here with my sister and myself and found ourselves disappointed. The premade bowls are fine, but the build your own bowl is an extra $5. I am gluten free so I was happy to find out they had the option of gf soy sauce. When the bowls came out, each had a huge scoop of imitation crab, which as a celiac I can't eat. Overall, mediocre quality for the price. Lots of rice and imitation crab to keep prices low, I suppose.
