Big Heng is the best Chinese spot I been too. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious with good portion size especially for the cost and cleaner than most food establishments. I have been coming to this place since 2009 and never been let down. I love the hot n sour soup but everything on the menu I tried and has been good. There lunch specials are very affordable. Me and my gf eat here basically for under $20 with both our meals and always have left overs. Wish they could expand and open a restaurant in Tucson where I live but I'm a truck driver and spend most my time in Phoenix. No better place than Big Heng!

Best spot so far! Don’t turn away if you feel the area is a bit run down and in the same plaza there is a bar! The food is ALWAYS served fresh and hot! I have yet to receive cold food! The service is wonderful and the portions are more than 1 can eat! In the middle of some of their tables there is a lazy Susan and it makes sharing so easy and fun! Their egg drop soup is the best I’ve had in the west valley so far!

Used the drive thru to pick up my order as it is a very small location and I’m actually not sure if there’s a dine in option or not. Good was overall, good. Just good. Acceptable if you’re really hungry. I like the lunch option. It comes with good portion sizes and an extra Rangoon and egg roll. I got the lunch combo with sweet and sour pork.

Been going for years. Finally opened up dine in. Not a big place. However service is great. Very easy menu and priced very affordable. Big portions and taste great. Kid friendly and plenty of parking. You can call in your orders and they have a drive thru. Highly recommended.

The food was well cooked. The flavors were lacking. We got Lemon Chicken and Honey Garlic chicken. You could not tell the difference between the two. The flavor was better on the Honey Garlic but still bland. It was cooked well just missed out on flavor.

If you are looking for some awesome food, this is the place. Great smells walking in made us order appetizers. Highly recommend the lettuce wraps and the chicken and veggies were delicious. We will be back!

I’ve ordered from here for many years but lately it seems even better!! My husband and I even stopped in one night to eat at the restaurant and the server was very accommodating and welcoming. When ordering delivery it’s always hot and delicious and they always will pack in the good hot mustard if you ask ;) kung pow chicken and beef skewers never disappoint, 10 out of 10

If you're going for a fancy sit down restaurant, past this place by. They put all the love into their food, which is fabulous. I just ordered a pork fried rice and an order of egg rolls with a side of house mustard. I haven't ever been here before but I think the food is great. Not this Chinese buffet, commercial stuff you get all over but real good homemade food!

PF Chang’s never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with a great selection of Asian-inspired dishes. Their drinks are just as impressive, making it the perfect spot for a night out. It’s always my go-to place when I’m craving amazing Asian cuisine! This location is great with wonderful staff

Celebrated a bday here with friends. We had a great time. The food was great. It was a quiet night and not too many people. Our server, Angelo, was amazing. He did such a great job. He was attentive and very friendly. I will recommend this place to anyone if all the servers agre this great.

The service and ambience were amazing. Decent place for a family. Ordered the vietnamese style sun devil chicken lunch combo. It came with a soup, 2 fried wontons, 1 egg roll. Food was average but the quantity and presentation was great for the price. Hopefully other food items taste better.

Shanghai Grill has been such a great find and it has become our new favorite Chinese restaurant! Each dish we have ordered has been prepared with care and especially delicious! Our favorite dishes so far include sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, General Tso’s chicken, pad thai, sesame chicken, and chicken lo mein. Shanghai Grill’s egg rolls are the absolute best and a must-have! Their potstickers and egg drop soup are also really flavorful and warming; making them such a great starter to your meal. It is easy to tell that each dish is prepared with quality ingredients and that makes all the difference in the world; making the entire experience enjoyable. Each time we have visited Shanghai Grill, we have been welcomed in with kindness and seated with care. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We also appreciated being able to order food to-go from the table, if we needed to. Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and try Shanghai Grill for your next night out, trust me, you won’t be sorry you did!

We wanted to adventure and try a new place and typically prefer mom and poo small businesses. The outside looks run down, and this doesn't scare us and is normal for the places we enjoy. There are signs posted stating that the bathrooms are not available for customers and another one about food delivery services. The inside looked like they were using the sest for storage. There is a big deep freeze in the front lobby next to the soda cooler. My husband and I each ordered a lunch meal. The woman working was very nice. When we said we would be dining in, she repeated a couple of times that the bathroom wasn't available for customers. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef plate with fried rice and I the shrimp with garlic sauce with white rice. We also order egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and 2 egg rolls. The food was served on paper plates and to go bowls. My husband enjoyed egg drop soup, but the hot and sour was gross. It's super dark, and thick it tastes just like beef bullion paste. The soups came with wonton strips and a decent amount. Each of our lunches was bland. The white rice was needed to choke down the shrimp meal. The sauce was again, super dark and thick, and couldn't taste any garlic. It was also supposed to be spicy, and there was no heat or spicy. The vegetables and shrimp were cooked well and crispy, but the sauce was disgusting. I didn't finish my meal. We paid less than $25 and for the portions is very fare. But we wouldn't recommend eating here. The service was good but to be expected since no one else was there, and it was in the middle of the lunch hour. I am very disappointed in this experience

I did a pick up for Hot & Sour soup and a LG shrimp lo me in. I'm gad I googled this place in Plaza off grand / 86th Ave. I will come again.

I just left this restaurant. I ordered a cup of egg, drop soup and general Tsaos chicken. First of all, they did a really nice job decorating the place. It has really delicate flowers painted along the walls and some nice pictures hanging up. It’s very cute. They only say that I could get to go with my meal with egg drop soup. I’m not a fan of egg drop soup. Having said that, it was pretty good, ribbons of silky, egg, small amount of vegetables, I added a little bit of soy sauce and it was perfect for me. I’m a big believer that the first bite tells the tale. I took a bite of the chicken, the taste was spot on. It was not over sauced, it was not greasy, it had a very nice flavor with just the perfect amount of spice. The entrée came with a spring roll and a scoop of rice. I don’t care for spring rolls, but I did take a bite of it, it tasted like any other spring roll. Only it was definitely very crunchy and not in the slightest greasy. If you like spring rolls, you would probably claim that a winner. I was less impressed with the fried rice that went along with the meal. As you can see by the photo all it is is brown colored rice. It’s not crispy. I didn’t see a sign of a vegetable or an egg in it And when I left, I took the remaining entrée but left my rice. my total, including soda and tip came out to just slightly over $18. All in all, I think it was really good. I’ll definitely go back and try another entrée. But in my opinion, of the three Chinese restaurants we have in that area one on each corner, this was the best meal that I’ve had

The orange chicken was AMAZING. best i have ever ate. The service was great and the food was better. Very nice atmosphere and was an amazing experience. My family will definitely be returning soon.

Best Chinese food I've had in years! Recommend asking for hot - it's just medium still really.

Relax in a cozy updated but old style type of Chinese restaurant. Subdued lighting, soft music, a phenomenally unique carved wooden table, and a drink mixing station off to the side set the mood upon entering. Playing into the nostalgic feel, I expected a little bowl of fried wonton strips to dip into duck sauce and hot mustard, but alas, none came. For a few cents, they should consider adding that--it's akin to tortilla chips at Mexican restaurants--something to nosh on while deciding what to order. Same for offering up some hot tea in those little pots and tiny cups--I mean, if we're conjuring the Good Old Days, why not? I ordered a classic Mai Tai, although I wish the straw would've been paper instead of plastic, but the paper parasol was classic paper and wood: yay! It was perfect. Our server, Julie, was attentive and so warm and friendly that our entire experience was enhanced. PoPo Platter was my nibble-my-meal memory lane choice. There's something about making your skewered treats sizzle on a tiny hibachi grill! The filled wontons could've used more filling and the "crab" would more honestly be labeled "krab." The selection would be enhanced by adding in traditional shrimp toast by replacing one of the filled wonton items. My partner's pork, chicken, shrimp combo meal satisfied him and he said he'd gladly order it again. For some reason, we didn't get fortune cookies, but I thought of it on the way out and asked host Zack who quickly handed me 2 in cellophane. When we got out to the car, I handed one over and then looked down at mine and it was only broken bits with no fortune. Obviously a packaging flaw at the factory, but it's a good thing I'm not superstitious!

Good quantity of food quality was OK. Fried rice didn’t have very much meat even though I paid four dollars extra for chicken on top of barbecued pork quite honestly don’t think it was worth $50 for a order of fried rice and a combo of orange chicken with some potstickers

I just purchased the shrimp and vegetables lunch special. Everything was so fresh and tasty. A light and tasty crab puff, a generous egg roll and soup. I will definitely return.

This review is based solely on the three main entrees I got. The mushroom chicken was fresh with huge mushrooms. Honestly I'd like it without the chicken, just as a veggie side. The orange chicken was fresh and saucy. I tried the Beijing Beef for the first time. It is by far my new favorite! I'd honestly forgo the other two in the future. I did not want to discount the yumminess of the entrees. The rice was fresh but bland. The noodles were fresh but bland. The sweet and sour packets taste chemically. Wish they had an option of orange sauce to dip.

Try to avoid this location customer service is. I’m sorry to say it, but it’s garbage. They have no Respect for customers And when you ask a question, they don’t even look at you and they answer in a mean way John is the one that serviced me today two minutes ago I couldn’t even wait to go home to write this review. That’s how bad my experience was pay too much money for a bowl of rice and was supposed to be broccoli beef all I got is three pieces of meat and a lot a lot of broccoli.

Unacceptable food quality. I used to order family meal was not bad for me before today. It was the worst broccoli beef ever any other Chinese food restaurant. The broccoli was old, oily and bad smell. It seemed old leftover in tray even no beef. It’s not food, Panda Express!!

Had an amazing experience here, the store was clean and was helped out by Grace. She did a fantastic job with my order and was super kind and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!!
