Update: Beware❗❗❗ They charge more money than actual bill keep the receipt with you. We went to this location again and they charged me more than what's on the bill total. Until I checked my credit card charged $4 more after pending transaction looks he added more supposed to be $35 they charged $39. Beware ❗❗ ❗ I wanted to try a new Chinese place we found this location and went out today with family to have Lunch. The food was so good I didn't expect it to be that good and prices are reasonable compared to other locations. I recommend this location The only thing is they're short staffed only one person taking care of everyone.

We went to this place, on our 'first date' 18 years ago and wanted to revisit for our Anniversary. we were as pleased with this visit as we were the first time, and were so happy that not only did this fine restaurant make it through the 'Covid Disaster', but has continued the excellent food and service throughout time. Our meals were a 'circus' of flavors and each bite was such pleasant sense of spices and flavor. Simply outstanding, as was the combo appetizer pictured. I can't remember what the name of the cocktail drink we shared (last picture) but it was quite interesting and unique. Just cannot go wrong dining here.

Definitely recommend this place if you like green or red chili chimichangas. Delicious, juicy and crisp to perfection. Chicken and beef taco plates were very yummy. My daughters loved it! Small hidden spot on 47th Avenue

Had the green beef chimichanga. ❤ 2 tacos and red beef enchilada 👍 Now we have a place to go to when I'm craving some good chimichanga. Price is good.

One of my favorite Chinese take-out places closed in downtown after 40 years of activity, and I've been looking for a substitute ever since. This might be my new spot! It looks to be family owned by very friendly people. The reason I went was for the aromatic shrimp that I saw on the menu, I tried the hot and soup, the Orange Chicken, the classic Kung Pao Chicken, and the Fried rice with Shrimp. I liked the addition of zucchini to the soup, it's the first time I see that and the soup was not too vinegary, but I would have liked it a bit more white pepper forward. The aromatic shrimp were very nice, the broccoli would have been nice if sautéed with garlic. Overall I think it's a great spot for the flavors and their prices. They also have half portions if you want to try out various dishes. It's another one of those place you might just drive by looking from outside, but you should give it a go!

We visited for dinner on a rainy day. They took our order and served us complementary soup 🍲. Foood was definitely 👌 good. Orange chicken was my favorite. (Crispy). Service was fast and excellent. Price is fare $

I keep forgetting that I want to do a review for this place! This is mine and my husbands very favorite restaurant. We get food here every time we can afford it. We’ve been coming here for the last 3+ years and it continues to be delicious. The place may be a hole in the wall but that’s how you know it’s authentic food. The twice cooked pork belly is to die for. They always so patient and accommodating to our requests and the food is always made correctly. This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and I will continue to be a loyal customer. I ❤️ you chili king

My family and I just landed from a late flight on Christmas Eve and were searching everywhere for a place that was still open to get some dinner. I’m so happy that we ended up here. My sister ordered the honey walnut shrimp, and it was hot, crispy, great flavor balance, and large pieces of shrimp. I ordered the mapo tofu and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it was probably the best mapo tofu I’ve had. I’m from Seattle where there’s a lot of really great Asian food in general, and have had mapo Tofu from a lot of places there. However, this is the most flavorful and balanced mapo tofu I’ve had. I could really taste the garlic and spices, but was not too spicy and did not over power the actual taste of the tofu itself either. Both of the dishes we got had large portion sizes. Probably could have shared, but honestly it was so good that I didn’t want to. I never write reviews, but we were so impressed by the food here. I told my sister that I already want to come back before I leave. She’s local and said that she’s adding Chilli King to her regular rotation for takeout places. Thank you!

First time here. Our favorite place closed down on 51st and Cactus. Parents wanted to retire 😪. Our first order: wonton soup, egg drop soup, beef chow mein, chicken Kung pao, and Mongolian beef, with 2 egg rolls. Both soups were yummy. I think they need salt, but I might be dehydrated. Kung Pao dish was yummy, thought there would be a bit more veg in it, but no complaints about more chicken. Mongolian beef, too many onions and light on the beef. Not as flavorful as we have had other places. Beef chow mein: yummy. But skimpy on the beef, but had lots of flavor. All in all, will be back again to try other items for the ones we were not happy with!

Great food. So many choices. Deff try the orange chicken and orange beef. I have never had bad food. It is always fresh and a lot of it. My complaint is the staff. They are not friendly. At first I thought a language barrier. But I have been back many times and realize it’s just rudeness. I only go back because the food is so good. They also don’t have fountain drinks and charger per can or whatnot. If they were a little more pleasant and had fountain sodas. They would be one of the best Chinese restaurants in AZ

Ordered sesame chicken and the bottom portion of the chicken was filled with honey. Which left the chicken soggy. Chicken lo mein was somewhat greasy. Loved the shrimp fried rice which had jumbo shrimp rather than small bites. Didn't care much for the poo poo platter. The ribs were good. Ordered to go and still had to go inside and verify my order with my email as they didn't hand my food to my girlfriend. The sad thing is I just got out of surgery and was forced inside. So the experience sucked in general. I will never return to your establishment.

This is a favorite, generous portions. Easy on the wallet, $50 for 2 with the Po Po platter appetizer, sweet and sour shrimp combo, the beef and broccoli combo. The food was great. The service was excellent. Added photos from our takeout last night. Photos are of sweet and sour shrimp, orange beef. Included was spring rolls, cream cheese wontons, fried rice, and chow mein noodles. The sweet and sour sauce came on the side in its own cup. This was perfect for dipping the shrimp. Everything was great generous portions.
