Lui's Chinese Restaurant
Great food best Chinese buffet in Florence . The owner/manager be in a mood sometimes. But the staff are great. I only eat here I don’t eat here unless they’re closed the best buffet in Florence . Far as taste. Now if you want to go somewhere else and get some mediocre Tasting food then go ahead . Everything good egg rolls ok !
Really great buffet! Higher quality than most. Excellent General Tso’s Chicken. Make sure you try the chicken wings and Fried shrimp, both are better than most sit down restaurants. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is friendly. You can tell this place has a cult following by how the staff knows many customers by first name. Overall I say if tou need a big meal stop in!
Magnolia Wok
We decided to go to Magnolia Wok during this visit for Chinese food. We’ve been here a few times before and we love how much food we get with your order. Since we knew what to expect we decided to get one plate and split it. The person taking the order was nice and even confirmed our order with us prior to us paying. The person making the plates told us it would be a small wait because they wanted to give us fresh chicken instead of the little bit of chicken that had been sitting, which we thought was so thoughtful! The wait wasn’t long and we ordered the orange chicken with lo mein, everything was fresh and really good. Even after splitting the plate between the two of us we were still able to get seconds should we want it. The area was little crowded as the location is in the food court of the mall but the place itself wasn’t bad and they were moving their line right along. 10/10
The sesame chicken was good, the teriyaki chicken was good, but the bourbon chicken was dry. The wings had been refried and so was th egg rolls. Will go again but earlier in the day like when they first open
Yummy Cuisine
One of the best General Tso chicken I’ve ever had! Kung po and Chicken Lo Mein also delicious! You get free soda with lunch orders. Everything is cooked fresh. Friendly and quick service.
It was Christmas night, and as I would always do since my divorce, and that is to have a Chinese dinner. They offered Hibachi, which is not normally sold at Chinese restaurants, so I tried it. I didn't finish it....I will not say anything else. I will not be returning.
Golden Crown Restaurant
You won't be disappointed when you come. The food is fresh and they keep it coming. By far the best Chinese buffet in the area! They have shrimp for days, different wings, etc, and a friendly staff. It's my go to as far as Chinese! I've been here four times in the last month and a half and it's always consistent.
Someone needs to be real about this. I heard so much hype about this place opening again. It's actually very bland. Selection is lack-luster. No variety and very basic choices. No background music or anything for "atmosphere". Just a large room full of tables and chairs on either side of a very small buffet area. The general tao chicken looked like it had zero seasoning (it was WHITE!) the sweet-and-sour sauce was red in the pan but yellow on the plate. The truth can't be judgemental. The truth is just the truth.
Golden Dragon Restaurant
The food is awesome.. I liked my food and I’m not really big on Asian food, but the person with me loves Asian food and eats at all kinds of places and says this is the best lo mein - ever!!! I had sweet n sour chicken… it was yummy - hot, fresh, and delicious with very nice portions. Try it!!! I’m glad I did! The guy working the counter (Charles) was awesome too ☺️
We were excited to try the food here. We called for take out, and the guy that took our order was less than friendly, even in person. The portion sizes were big and the food was hot, but it tasted horrible. I got the fried pork wontons and the sweet and sour pork. The wontons were over cooked and the meat tasted like liver. The pork had a really weird texture and it had way too much breading. Hubby got the beef cheesesteak egg roll and said it had the texture and tasted like beef fat. His lo mein was decent.
Yummy House
Slammin. The young lady at the register was as nice as can be, helpful and patient. She gave us some really good recommends as to what to order… The prices are great! I tried the hibachi (drink included!) + an order of full size chicken wings (so crispy) no sauce, just house seasoning. Man that food was good! And we were given enough to eat off for another meal or two… “Yummy” is right
Let me be clear… I have experienced tragic food occurrences with bad taste, lack of service, etc. and in my 37 years have NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW… however, this is inexcusable behavior I experienced at the Yummy House. For one, I ordered a 10 piece chicken wings PLAIN with the shaker on my chicken and fries… and somehow the woman at the front heard lemon pepper wings… my receipt even said plain and she added the lemon pepper herself I don’t know… I get all the way home and find out so this was my fault… however, she refused to refund me by initially begging me to keep my food… and I also explained to her that I also want a refund because the price was incorrect on the menu as well… she voided my prefer and literally “shood” me out of her establishment by waving her hand. Although my first experience was a 5-star (the food is good so I will be objective)… the second one is a 1-star based on the sheer rudeness and disrespect… I will not be back. Please proceed with caution and order in person because there is an obvious language barrier here.
Little China Restaurant
First time eating here and it was great. Ordered rib tips and shrimp fried rice. It was hot, fresh and flavorful. I would definitely go back.
The food is delicious! It’s our go to for Chinese food in Florence. Everyone there is super kind and helpful. The restaurant itself is not fancy but it’s more of a take out restaurant.
Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant
This was my first time ordering food from here (Door Dash) and I got the Pepper Steak w/ pork fried rice + 4 wings w/ fried rice. The beef is really tender and soft and the peppers have a nice crunch to them. The sauce is really good too! These chicken wings are honestly the biggest I've seen around Florence, and they are the size of my palm! I can't wait to try them, but y'all have definitely earned a new customer! Edit: Just tried the chicken wings, and honestly I think they're the best in Florence! I know that's bold, but these wings taste amazing 🤤😩
You know it's old school Chinese food 😋 when they staple the styrofoam to-go boxes 💛 Good sized portions. These are our fried chicken wings, steamed dumplings, teriyaki chicken leftovers.
King's Lite Express
I ordered Mongolian beef with chicken fried rice, and I was only given about five small pieces of beef with a pound of onions, literally. When I called to explain that, she said it only came with a few pieces of beef and that many onions. After that she said something in her accent as if she didn’t understand what I was saying. I told her I didn’t understand, and she said “yea, umm hmm.” I do not recommend eating at this establishment. She was not willing to fix the issue when she was obviously wrong.
Order dinner for the night. Got home was eating and hair was in my Rice. Not again look at your food please. The sauce of the kale chicken was disgusting. The white rice was hard. It was like it was cooked a few days ago. It was black and hard. . Tried to call. No one answered at 9:30 . Now I am so hungry that I can't sleep. I don't recommend this place. There are too many Chinese restaurants in Florence. Go somewhere else.
New Bamboo Garden Restaurant
We recently moved to the area and had been displeased with the rice at the other two places we had tried. This rice was delicious as well as our other food. Will definitely be going back.
Been eating here for years. The ones leaving 1 star neg reviews are just Karen's. Simple as that. Everytime I go. I call ahead and order. So by the time I get there it's done and I just need to pickup. So this is pointed towards you Ms I'm standing in line and a customer walks right up to the counter. Of course the pickup line is gonna be dealt with be4 you lmao. But fr. You get alot of food for your money and I've eatin at every Chinese food restaurant in florence. No there food is not tasteless. It's dang good. So again. Don't let these Karen's review bomb you and make you think you don't wanna eat here. Just ignore them and try for yourself. Word of advise tho order ahead. Not there. So much faster
New China Buffet
Worst buffet i’ve ever had the displeasure of eating at. I’ve been to many many chinese buffets. This by far has the least options i’ve witnessed, and mediocre at best food. The price is outrageous for the 10 or so options you get to choose from, and it’s like takeout food. Only slightly redeeming quality was the service. Terrible, go anywhere else.
The place is filthy. The carpet is dirty, food on the floors. We let that go and tried the food. Buffet had average selection. Tasted good though. While patrons eating they were washing down the kitchen (it was 8 pm on a Saturday) which opens up next to the buffet, water all over. Not the greatest place. Would not recommend for lack of cleanliness.
Chopsticks
Delicious food. Sesame chicken was sweet and spicy. Loved it. But do not eat in. Not sure why they even have the tables. No real actual service or expectation for you to dine in. Perfect for to go meal though.
I've never ordered from a Chinese restaurant where their Orange Chicken & Sesame Chicken were the freaking same except the only difference being red pepper flakes in 1 & sesame seeds thrown on top the other. Let's not forget that the sauces were more of a gelatine/jelly consistency w/ the Chickens breading being so thick & heavy it is broken off all throughout these disgusting concoctions they throw together. I've ordered Orange & Sesame Chicken for over 35+ years & there has always been a distinct difference in appearance & taste & not just by simply throwing some seeds on a pile of goo. Whenever I called they got an attitude & told me it's same sauce 1 is spicier w/ seeds which I think is upsurd they claim to have authentic food bc 1st place I've been served an orange jelly mess of slop. I was nice whenever I called but their attitude & lack of not giving a fu*k & not offering to make it right in anyway has me heated. What happened to people taking pride in their business & culture at that & what happened to customer service?! I'm pissed & want a REFUND bc the crap is gross
