Queen's Bowl Chinese Food
I think I had high expectations. I ordered shrimp egg fu yong , low main, pork egg roll and sesame chicken. The gravy taste like there was no salt used. If I'm being honest nothing taste like salt was used. I've never had Chinese food that needed any additional sodium added. My husband thought I was exaggerating until it was his turn to eat and he literally spit the food out. The egg fu yong was filled with bean sprouts. More bean sprouts than egg. The egg roll was very bland as well. I'm in total shock. I've never eaten Chinese food with no flavoring or salt used. I don't know if it was a bad night or the chef skipped a step. However, I'm highly disappointed. I couldn't finish it.
NOTE: Supposedly, the restaurant's management changed a while back. It used to be a respectable establishment, but now it's not even worth the gas to drive there. $19 for some terrible teriyaki chicken and a soda. Not gonna go there again. When I got my food, it was drowning in watery Teriyaki sauce. But somehow, the chicken itself—despite being soaked in sauce—tasted like it had been sitting on a food warmer for the past 8 hours. Devoid of texture and flavor. At least they didn't mess up the rice.
P.F. Chang's
We stopped here for lunch and it was delicious! The lettuce wraps were especially tasty and the pomegranate lemonade was really good too. Our server was nice and the restaurant was clean and no wait to be seated. We will definitely be back!
All good. Quick service. The variety is great. And parking plentiful. We had the tempura green beans, cucumber salad, shrimp and Chang’s spicy chicken. We were eating at 2pm so the place was not full and service was fast. Drinks were refilled consistently without asking. To go containers were bright for leftovers.
Panda Express
This panda serves very generous portions. My mushroom chicken was fresh, juicy, and flavorful. The rice could use more flavor and was slightly undercooked. The service was slow, with no one taking orders for over 5 minutes. In the end, mushroom chicken is still my favorite and keeps me coming back.
Went to Panda today at Chandler Mall and ordered a 2 entree meal and what looked like the manager was running the food line. She was very abrupt and not very friendly. Didn't greet and just asked what I wanted to order. She was very robotic. When I got to the register the cashier was just as bad. Didn't ask if I wanted a drink, just asked if the carton was my order and gave me my total. I gave her a $100 dollar bill. She just looked at me and said she didn't have change and asked for a card. I told her I didn't have a card. I just had the $100 bill because it was all I had on me since my group was at the playground and my nephew was getting pretzels with my card, not that she needed my life story. She just said "well I don't have change", she didn't even ask her manger for assistance. She just put my food behind her and asked for the next customer. Even the customer behind me said "Wow! That's crazy" . Had she been nicer and / or got her manager involved to see if they had change in the back, I would have told her to hold my food and grabbed my card from my nephew at the pretzel stand. Instead she chose to waste food. I have never had any issues in the past with this location. I have on multiple occasions paid with a 50 or a 100 dollar bill at this location. We are here at the mall a lot for the indoor playground and are members at Crayola Experience. So we tend to get food at the food court. I'm now glad that they just opened a Japanese and a Thai Express here, so I can pass on Panda going forward.
