Overall really good Chinese food, The General Tso's Chicken is really tasty and cooked well, Only downside with it is that even when ordering "Extra Hot" it still isn't spicy. As for the Chicken Fried Rice its really good, One of the better places to get fried rice around here.

What a pleasant surprise! From the outside this looks a bit sketch, but inside it’s just fine. There are only a few tables if you want to dine in, and if you do that you’ll still be eating with flimsy plastic utensils and plastic to-go plates/containers. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll at least get good quality Chinese food with large portions and reasonable prices. I tried the Hunan Triple, which the lady at the counter said was “medium-spicy”. Tender cuts of pork, chunks of chicken breast and some surprisingly decent-sized shrimp were served with a mix of vegetables including mushrooms, baby corn, carrot, onion, green bell pepper, water chestnuts and celery. The Hunan brown sauce was only mildly spiced, but it was a good medium consistency and not overly sweet or sour. It was really good but I’d love it to be more spicy. Then again, I say that for every Chinese restaurant in this part of the country. My dining partner got the Sweet & Sour Chicken and it was perfectly decent. Very few inedible bits in the chicken, and the sauce was thick and definitely more sweet than sour, with no real citrus zing like some restaurants feature. While I had steamed white rice, she got the fried rice and said it was pretty good. The vegetables mixed in were only lightly fried so the onions still had some crunch to them. There didn’t seem to be much if any egg in it. We also tried a few eggrolls. Just like the Sweet & Sour Chicken, this was a very middle-of-the-road, nothing fancy/nothing weird item. Just $1.30 each, so a pretty decent deal, too. Drinks are Pepsi brands from a fountain, and Red Diamond sweet tea which was really good and strong. Handy tip: If you want something more spicy, skip the awful bland “hot mustard” in the packets and ask for the homemade stuff from the kitchen. It has quite the kick! I think I turned several shades of red after taking a big bite of it. A little bit definitely goes a long way, and the overall flavor (once the heat subsides) is quite nice, too.

My husband and I visited our mom and dad in Orange Beach and decided to have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant called China Dragon. What a fantastic choice! We ordered four appetizers, three entrees, and a dessert, and every single dish was absolutely amazing. Owners are super friendly as well! The first thing that caught our attention was the beautiful decor. The restaurant’s classic Chinese architectural design, paired with the thoughtful display of traditional instruments on the walls, created an inviting and authentic atmosphere. Our top recommendations: the firecracker shrimp, seafood shumai, and pork spring rolls—each bite was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. My husband couldn’t get enough of their orange chicken, pot stickers, shrimp with lobster sauce, and house special fried rice—all classic dishes done to perfection. Though we were full, we couldn’t resist trying the sesame balls for dessert, and they didn’t disappoint! The taste brought back fond memories of my hometown in China. The food, authenticity, and warm hospitality made our family trip even more special. China Dragon will be our go-to spot for Chinese food whenever we visit Orange Beach again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful authentic chinese food. Best Kung Pao and Hot and Sour Soup. They even special made Egg Foo Young and everything was fantastic and the service was great as well. We will be back for sure.

This was a pretty ehh eating experience. The only good thing we had was the donkey sushi roll I ordered. My partner said the fried rice was awful and the empanadas tasted like the frozen kind you get at the grocery store. The robot waiter song will get stuck in head and annoying after 5 minutes. The waitresses were nice and the place was clean. But that’s about all it has going for it. It was also practically empty on Sunday at dinner time. For $70 before tax and tip and all the great reviews, we were really hoping for something better.

A very enjoyable experience. The food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The kids enjoyed the robot food server. Pricing was decent. Relaxing environment. Our waitress, Rebecca, did an outstanding job.

Family was craving Asian food so gave this place a try since it has great review. It sure was authentic starting with the Thai iced tea! We ordered the chicken Pad Thai, Drunken noodles (PadKee Mow) with tofu, Vegetable Green Curry and Chicken Pad Prik kingh and they are all very delicious! The server was very friendly and helpful. The portion is a bit less than expected (thus a bit pricy), however, with the quality it's still a good meal overall.

Tried this place pre-covid and had issues. We were really craving tai, so we decided to give them another chance. It did not disappoint! We ordered pad tai chicken and drunken noodles beef, both spicy. However, the drunken noodles were not spicy at all, and the pad tai was really spicy. I like spicy, so that was not an issue, but not sure why the big difference in spice level! Both dishes were delicious and enough to share, even though smaller portion than the place we go to in Pensacola. Spring rolls were just ok. Next time we will skip the spring rolls and try something else. Highly recommend!

After seeing all the videos online I've been really wanting to go here but since my birthday falls on Thanksgiving we weren't able to celebrate much that day my best friend planned a surprise road Trip 2 weeks later to do my birthday dinner and it happened to be here. On an extremely slow Tuesday night out of season for this place in a Beach town can we were literally the only people in the whole building the whole time we were there maybe one other person came in and looked at the menu. Bean as I work in the restaurant business myself I honestly expected us to not get the full experience where to get less than The full experience because it being so dead they were ready to go. That being said the two young ladies that were working tonight gave me an awesome first experience there I can't wait to go back they gave us their undivided attention as we were the only ones in there and it was everything I expected more I feel like I can go back a professional now and I appreciate although it was so slow did they gave us such great service the whole time and they were so attentive in the meanest way possible of course and we had a blast thank you for making this birthday great

Deomi was the best! My dad is naturally mean so she just matched his energy the hats were the best part would definitely recommend asking for deomi!

Update: We extended our vacation one extra day to enjoy the .79 oysters on Tuesday. I enjoyed the grouper sandwich. Great food and great service! I love their hot sauce so much, I bought 2! Dallas from Dickson was an amazing server. Coming back next time we're in town.

Stopped in with the boys on Veterans Day. Shrimp Basket was offering a free Popcorn Shrimp Basket for all Veterans. The food was fantastic, great flavor and the portions were large. We also tried the smoked tuna dip and fried onion strings. Both are highly recommended as well. If you are looking for some great fried seafood and views of the coast, I’d highly recommend.

We LOVED their breakfast!! Their pancakes are delicious, love that they use whipped butter. The steak croissant sandwich was a perfect compliment to their pancakes; the perfect savory and sweet combination! I highly recommend trying their breakfast. If we ever come back to orange beach we will definitely come back here. Our waitress was great as well, very kind.

Tacky Jack’s in Orange Beach is absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—every bite was a treat. The drinks were top-notch, with a great selection and expertly made cocktails that paired perfectly with the relaxed beach vibe. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the outdoor seating area—it offered stunning views and the perfect atmosphere for a laid-back meal by the water. If you’re in Orange Beach, Tacky Jack’s is a must-visit! Great choice for date night while on vacation. We started with the lobster roll, which was so light and flavorful. Amazing fresh fish/scallops dishes and the honey cake was literally icing on the cake! Our Server was Niya S and she had great recommendations and was very attentive. Already looking forward to our next trip!

Best service and food is top notch. Very attentive to food allergies as well. Being gluten free I ordered mussels and sea bass, even had dessert! Lots of options for gluten free. The mussels came out with bread by mistake so they made another plate. The chef even came out to apologize. Most restaurants don’t seem to care so was totally blown away by the hospitality. Always a favorite when we come to visit.😍

First time...the vibe from all walks of life here is pretty amazing. The band was a funk band which is always fun...looks like a little hole in the wall but it really is a good place. Everyone there was super nice..I even had food there...Ruben was pretty good. I hope to return one day

Our only regret to dining here was not finding Docs until our last 2 days on vacation. We decided to pop in for their “winter special” prime rib, which was really good, so we decided to come back for lunch the next day for their (supposedly) world’s best shrimp. And oh my… yea, it’s that good. At first we thought it was a bit pricey (for lunch) but it was worth every single penny. Hands down the best shrimp in the gulf shores/orange beach area and loads of food! Great service, great drinks…the meal was well worth the price and yes, we will be back!

Our server Courtney was the best! Food was delicious even tho the 7oz filet mignon was small for the price. She really liked the stuffed crab and the beer was tasty! They do not have the best fried shrimp in the entire civilized world however I would still recommend

Good food and great service! Nachos was just terrific! Loved that thing. But relative to the price paid, the ambiance and the food portion could have been better. Just a suggestion, but would be nice if they added some vegetarian dish as well.

Cute local place. We had drinks and food. All was excellent. Trinity, our server, was great. We didn't have the salad bar as it was extra and looked basic.
