Yummy yaki
This place has become somewhat of a go-to for us lately. We've haven't tried anything off the menu yet (even tho it all looks really good). So far, we just stick to the build your own bowl option & it's been really good every time. They have a wide selection of veggies, meats, seasonings & sauces so you can make it exactly how you want. I also love that they bring you your own bottle of yum yum sauce for the table, extra deliciousness! The staff is always friendly & attentive as well. If you haven't tried this place, you should!
Yummy indeed! Love this place. Who knew so much raw meat could create such a great dining experience? I did. I’ve been enjoying these Mongolian style restaurants for years. The man that runs/manages this location is the nicest guy in the world. So friendly and helpful. Lots of choices on the bar of meats, vegetables, dry seasonings and sauces of all kinds. And when those cooks lay it all out on that giant round hibachi with your rice or noodles, out comes a big bowl of deliciousness. Haven’t really tried anything else on the menu because the create-your-own bowl is always plenty of food. Great service, friendly staff, clean, easy to get yo and plenty of parking. Highly recommend giving Yummy Yaki a try.
Bamboo Steakhouse & Sushi Bar
Took the entire family out, chose this place and chose right! Our chef Mr. Hao was amazing! He had the entire table rolling with laughter and he put on one hell of a show! The experience on its own was 10/10! The food was 👌 perfect! Definitely on the pricier end for cost but I feel like we got our money's worth! Everyone left with thier bellies full and a huge smile on thier face!
Excellent hot sake, delicious Sapura beer, delicious sushi 🍣 The first time I see that they brought us a salad, although we did not order it, very grateful. Cozy place, friendly staff
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
Been here several times before, came for Thanksgiving Dinner. Despite the line out the door, staff were able to expedite us and we were seated in less than 30 minutes. Very organized, getting large groups of people plus families with little ones seated. Food was good, desert bar good. Salad bar ok, could use more options.
The whole place is money hungry, they wanted to charge for my baby to use a plastic fork (the metal ones are just too heavy and serious for a baby), charged again for Togo drinks even though they already charged $3+ for the drink while we eat, and they didn't even give me an option to tip the waiter with card??(I'm guessing its cash tips only) I hate to see what the poor servers are making. I could go to barnyard cafe or a Chinese buffet for a less price gouging experience and better food. Never again! I also want to mention the fact that the bathrooms were disgusting. They had silly toilet freshners hanging on the back of the toilets as if that was going to cover the stench of no one cleaning the back of the toilet properly. Then the bathroom floor was wet with no wet floor sign. Lastly, the salad area smelled dirty. Like the kind of dirty kitchen smell you get when you haven't cleaned the floors or fridge properly. If they put more into the cleanliness of the place they wouldn't have to worry about charging for every small little thing. By the way, my server was beyond pleasant, it's not their fault they work for a despicable company. I just pray their employees are being treated better than their customers.
Panda Express
Everything was alright except the fried rice which was a little dry. May be it was a less crowded afternoon. Table and washroom were maintained clean.
I was very disappointed. The Mobile, AL location needs to take lessons from the Metaire, LA location. I thought that I would get the same excellent food at this store, but I didn't. The chow mein was hard and dry, the orange chicken was hard with no tender pieces, and brown sauce on the beef with broccoli was missing or extremely light, and the beef was grey. It was five o'clock. Do better.
