Rice Box
The service was terrible! I inquired about the Chicken with Broccoli before placing my order and received an answer that made me want to try the dish. However, when it arrived, it was not visually appealing to me, so I asked if I could exchange it for something else. The manager replied, “No refunds or exchanges. You should know what you want to order.” Letting a customer swap out a dish they don’t like is a key aspect of good customer service because it shows that the establishment values customer satisfaction and is willing to accommodate individual preferences. It can help build a positive relationship with customers, encouraging them to return and recommend the place to others. Additionally, it demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to listen to feedback, which can enhance the overall dining experience.
This was my first time to Huntsville we ate dinner here I ordered a variety of different things and not one of them disappointed! All the food was so good! The staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly! We ordered a walk-in take-out our wait time didn’t take a long time. It was just all around a good experience ! Highly recommend !
China Moon
Nice little buffet to eat and go. Food is good and atmosphere is nice.
I have to be honest on this one, it wasn't a good experience. I try to refrain from leaving a review at all if it's not positive, but I feel I wouldn't be fair here if I didn't leave the honest feedback. It was dimly lit, which is fine...until you begin to question what you are eating or drinking and can't see it that well. One of the tea containers were empty, so I asked if the other one was sweet. The gentleman stated that it was sweet (it wasn't as I soon realized, I filled an entire cup of unsweet that I ended up pouring out). I then got a second drink, an orange soda from the fountain machine and I immediately realized the soda machine had flies in it (now in my drink, see photo). I did nicely show the gentleman as well as the woman, then poured out that drink as well. I ended up getting a can coke from the cooler. The chicken. Well, I ordered Sweet & Sour chicken...it wasn't horrible, but it was a bit different than the usual sweet & sour chicken you get at similar restaurants; huge pieces, kind've spongy, but again not bad so I'm neutral on the chicken. I hesitate to add that several of the pieces were coincidentally shaped like small, eh, "animals" which was only exaggerated by the fact that the experience had been a rough one thus far. Lastly, the fortune cookies. I do love to get the fortune cookies at this type of restaurant...I will usually eat the cookie & read the fun little messages. I would venture to say these particular cookies were significantly past their expiration date, I seriously about broke a tooth before having to spit it out, it was like biting into glass. Unfortunately, this visit was a bad one. I may give it another shot in the future (after some time has passed) because I try to be open minded that everyone has a bad day. Will update review if a future experience is better.
China Sun
Today was my first time going to this restaurant. I am a big foodie and I am beyond honest about everything I say on these reviews. I only went to this location because someone said it’s a comparison to New York Chinese. Me being born and raised in the heart of New York City I can disagree. I ordered chicken wings and shrimp fried rice. The smell in the car on the way home smelled like very greasy food. After tasting the chicken I can tell it’s chicken from the day before and was just refried. The rice was ok but bland and only had six little shrimp in it. I paid $11.94 for my meal and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Food looks great but the taste was off.
Nice people! I enjoyed my dumplings, which came with sauce. Questionable life choices- my sister bet me $5 to down the sauce like a shot. Easiest 5 bucks ever. If that kind of information is helpful to you.
Hibachi Express
So, after picking up several delivery orders from Hibachi Express, I finally had to stop in and order my own dinner today. All those delivery pickups the smell would just torture me it was so wonderful and amazing! I'm happy to report that the items that I ordered were absolutely delicious as well! Please see my photos. I bought L02., which is a Teriyaki style Hibachi chicken. Yum! The fried rice was amazing. The vegetables that came with this entree were absolutely delicious. The vegetables were so good I ate them all first, LOL. I can honestly say these are the best Asian style (broccoli, zucchini, and I can't remember what all the other vegetables in there were) that I've ever had. You can see in my photos that I also bought the eight piece crab rangoon and two vegetable spring rolls. Oh my! Food heaven! I brought this menu home, and now that I've studied it, I see several other items that I am very excited about trying. I can not recommend this place enough. Also, every time I've ever been there, the guy at the front counter (it's the same guy. I don't know if I just came during his shift hours), he's always been super friendly to me and really very helpful. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. And thanks to all the people in the back cooking all this wonderful amazing food!
I’ve always been a fan of this group. I was excited to see when they opened one on the south end of town. While I’m disappointed they don’t have sushi, their food is well worth the stop. I had the hibachi steak and shrimp. The shrimp were huge and the steak was tender. It was delicious! My husband had the hibachi chicken and shrimp. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal, too. My daughter got the kids chicken nuggets. They were surprisingly good! They even looked like McDonald’s style. The fries were crinkle cut. The fountain drinks are huge. They also have bottled Coke products and Dr. Pepper.
China Cook
I came here for the first time for lunch not realizing it was a buffet. It’s a very small restaurant barely any seating and not enough food choices. The food I did have was good.
Great service, great atmosphere, excellent food. They also have lunch buffet and it’s really good and affordable price. We also like that they play Chinese music, not that we understand it but it makes the atmosphere better. Waitresses were very friendly and paying attention of what we need or if we needed refill.
Panda
Hands down the best food and the best place to sit down and eat. Food is always amazing the staff is wonderful. So relaxing to just have a nice meal after a long day of work.
Too much sesame oil in egg drop soup (it’s all you taste), burnt wontons, bland rice with no eggs. No amount of seasoning makes this food taste any better. I’ll never be back.
China Taste
I like the wings but I hate the service. When calling to place an order they can’t even understand what you are saying. Then the order is always wrong some how. We live 30 minutes away and it’s very frustrating when you get the wrong items and don’t find out until you get home. You ask them to put ketchup on fries and instead they give you packets. The ketchup does way better when the fries are hot and right out of the grease. They need to accommodate their customers liking.
If you're looking for a no-frills, takeout-only Chinese restaurant, this is the spot. I'll be honest—it's pretty much a hole in the wall with nothing appealing about its appearance. The place isn’t much to look at, and frankly, I'm not sure how it passes safety or health inspections. That said, the food is excellent. Every dish I've tried has been fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They manage to prepare your order in just 10-15 minutes, making it incredibly convenient. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the current market, and you’re definitely getting good value for your money. Despite its looks and questionable location, I would highly recommend giving it a try. Sometimes the best food comes from the most unexpected places!
China Gourmet
The Best Chinese Buffet in Huntsville—A True Hidden Gem If you judge a restaurant by its exterior, you might drive right past this place—and that would be a mistake. Sitting in a modest stand-alone building that has seen better days, this spot is home to the best Chinese buffet in Huntsville. It’s not new, it’s not flashy, but if you’re after incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go. The buffet is a cut above the rest. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Unlike some buffets where the food sits for hours, here, everything is replenished often, keeping it hot and delicious. From crispy egg rolls to perfectly seasoned stir-fries and rich, savory sauces, every bite feels like it was made to order. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the owner. Incredibly personable and genuinely kind, she makes sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. She’ll stop by your table to check on you, urging you to go back for more on, and make sure your dining experience is nothing short of excellent. Don’t let the looks fool you—this is hands down the best Chinese buffet in town. If you’re looking for great food served with real hospitality, make this your next stop.
Best Chinese buffet. The Mongolian Beef is just right; not just steak tip with teriyaki dumped on them. They also have bean sprouts, and the Fried Rice is excellent.
Great Panda Restaurant
Food was ok. Mostly fried stuff. Ladies super nice. I personally would not go back.
Great food and service! Definitely recommend for locals or travelers. Not in the best area but is a gem on the inside!
Mei Wei Asian Bistro
Orange chicken was good, the lo mein was terrible just noodle with a boring flavor, wonton sauce spilt everywhere somehow. For $18, I’ve had better Chinese.
"A FAVORITE!" I'm currently dining at Mei Wei Asian Bistro, near downtown Huntsville, Alabama. This restaurant and the particular meal that I've chosen again today have long been a favorite choice of mine here. My meal today is the "Thai Coconut Curry" with beef and white rice. EXCELLENT! And, I chose the RED version---which is rather hot (to very hot for some)---versus the GREEN (or mild). For the beef version, they use flank steak, and the way they prepare it makes it just MELT IN YOUR MOUTH as you are eating it. Furthermore, the sauce that the meat is in is a wonderful blend of seasonings. My compliments to this establishment for consistently providing a terrific dining experience. Super yet again! 👍 👍 G. P.F. Chang's
We had an awesome experience visiting P.F. Chang's! Our server Cassy walked us through the menu and helped us pick out some delicious options and just overall made the evening so fun. Everything came out super fast and tasted great, so we'll definitely be back again!
It was amazing to finally have this special dinner out with my daughters. The food here is impressive and worth the trip. It was also an added bonus to receive such good attentive care from our server. Denzel’s kindness does not go unnoticed. The atmosphere is personal and quiet. Very enjoyable all around and the special dietary accommodations were an added bonus.
Meteor Buffet
Excellent customer service and fresh food! Always a treat to go to eat there. They have a great Hibachi Grill and variety of Chinese, sushi, Seafood, and American fare. Recommend anyone to eat there.
I never get to come to this part of town much anymore, but I was able to tonight since I was here last they have remodeled everything yet. It is still Huntsville‘s best oriental buffet highly recommend. They also have the best crawfish I have had in a long time
