Here’s my review of Vietnamese Cuisine in Fairhope…. I’ve never seen my husband do this… that is all… 😆 but really we couldn’t bring ourselves to make the hour drive to Pensacola to our favorite pho restaurant and we remembered at the last minute about Vietnamese Cuisine, so off we went 🚘 when we got there we were greeted by the friendly waitress (I hate that I didn’t catch her name) the restaurant was clean and I loved these super cute lights!💡 We ordered what we would normally order at a pho place, I got the EXTRA LARGE bowl (cuz I love leftovers) 😆 and he got the normal size 🍜 the BROTH WAS AMAZING ✨ and our meats were flavorful. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Every time we visit we're left full and happy. The food has robust flavors and is very generously portioned. I highly recommend this place. The pho is the best in the area by far. And I know there's not much competition for that spot, but the pho here is legit. Also the spring rolls! Wow! Give them a try!

We’re passing thru and found this joint. It’s a Thai food stall in piggly wiggly with the nicest mother and son duo serving. It’s by the pound which is a little strange for Thai food but after you start eating it, it’s ingenious! The little fridge is stocked with soups and things to go. I’m so jealous we don’t have this back home.

She's got the best red curry in baldwin county. It's a little spicy, lots of flavor, lots of veggies in it. Very filling but not heavy. The pad thai is also cooked very well, has nice amount of veggies, and it's well priced. Grab and go fridge is super convenient too. 10/10

Love the atmosphere, the service is phenomenal. The food is great, there is room for improvement, but it is still great non the less. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back to eat here again and try other dishes and rolls. I really loved the crab rangoons!

Went in to order take-out. My wife likes the Mongolian Chicken although "Spicy" apparently isn't very. I order Combination Fried Rice as my go to in a place new to us. I would not do that again.

Tokyo Asian Cuisine

Update: Friday 06 DEC 2024 visit. We came back down from bham to visit family. Tokyo was our first stop. As per usual they did not disappoint. We got our usual "surf and turf" roll and gyoza. But decided to try a few new things. The "Olivia wraps"(appetizer) are amazing. Must try. "Sesame tuna"(appetizer), amazing. "Mount Fuji" roll rocked. "Asian fusion" roll. This place is awesome. Every time we visit family we typically come here twice. Have even visited two days in a row. This trip we will be coming back Sunday. It was so good we went for dinner two nights in a row. Highly recommend the surf and turf roll. Our server was phenomenal. Every roll we had was great. Can't say enough good things. We will dine here again when visiting family. Today we came back into town. We ordered 3 rolls we have tried before. Ocean roll, twister, and jubilee. Did not disappoint. We also ordered our old favorite surf and turf. Never disappoints.

I am not normally the type to leave reviews but this place STUNNED me. I had the New York strip hibachi with onion soup and ginger salad and despite the fact that it was a ton of food I ate every bite. The soup had an amazing flavor and came out with the salad, which had crunchy fresh lettuce and the perfect amount of dressing, within 3 minutes of ordering. Everything came out with perfect timing and was perfectly cooked and prepared; the steak was the perfect temperature (I ordered it medium which is kind of hard to do right when it is cut into cubes the way it is but their chef got it just right!) and had a beautiful smoky grilled flavor. The veggies and rice were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing with the yum-yum sauce. My boyfriend had the Boston, soft shell crab, and Out of Control rolls and all three of those were delightful as well, with fresh tasting fish and the perfect amount of sauces. Our server was also friendly, kind, and kept the meal perfectly paced but didn’t hover which we LOVE at a restaurant. Overall we were completely satisfied with our meals and left full and happy and ready to go back again soon! This was definitely in the top 10 meals I have ever had.

Saraceno's Restaurant

This place knows how to handle some meat! From the second you walk in you know that these ladies can handle a lot of meat and that they have been handling lots and lots of meat from early on. They really know their way around smoked butts too. I said "can I have some gravy on my mashed potatoes?" And she said "I'll give you all the gravy your heart desires". Then she got it all juicy. Next lady said "what I get you" I said "I'm going to need some breast and thighs" she smiled and hit my plate with them. She said my pleasure.

Starting a Baldwin county buffet bracket, Saraceno’s might just have the #1 seed! Greeted politely, buffet is point and speak, spacious seating, attentive service and the food is fabulous!! I had it all, twice, wasn’t a let down in the bunch. You can’t go wrong here!

Excellent food. Great flavor. You get a lot of food for a relatively low price. We got Lamb and Shrimp Biryani, Chicken Chow Mein, and Cheese Naan, and we were all very impressed. Nice selection of purses as well.

Visited after few years. Not a great fan of how they are providing service currently. Self preservation ordering and pre payment . Food was so bad. Chowmein noodles was replaced with fettuccine noodles :/ Sad to say there was no nepalese flavor and authenticity.

You can try exceptional, unique tacos 🌮 I had today's special fish taco 🐟 firecracker shrimp taco 🦐 those are great! The source was a unique mixture of a lot of different spices. I tried one bite of a duck taco, which was also great! I may consider to get one next time. It was very dog-friendly outside. A lot of dogs were having a great time in a large space 😊

I was so blown away (and not because hurricane Helene was passing close by)! I’m staying at a nearby resort, and the food here is far and away better (and it costs less)! It’s some of the best food I’ve ever had, and now I’m sad because there isn’t one near me. You can taste the fresh ingredients, and the balance of flavors is just perfect! That goes for the drinks too! This place deserves awards, but also, I want it to stay a little undiscovered and accessible ☠️. BUT IT SHOULD HAVE ALL THE AWARDS! I need to go back and eat my way through the menu.

Loved it here! I loved the food, the staff, the comfortable booths, and the atmosphere! I may consider coming back next time I'm in town.

Loved the dancing eel roll and the Pad Thai noodles. I will definitely be back

Master Joe's LLC

High-quality sushi experience in a small, welcoming atmosphere. Convenient location in downtown Fairhope. Nice selection of current pop music playing through the speakers, but quiet enough as to not obstruct conversation. Good service - our drinks were frequently topped off. I had the 3 sushi roll lunch special with ginger salad. For my sushi rolls, I chose the Boston roll, Alaskan roll, and Spicy Eel Avocado roll. They were each excellent and I would order all three again. I think the Alaskan was my favorite, but only due to personal preference. My wife had the chicken and beef hibachi (teppanyaki) lunch special. It was very good and would be a crowd pleaser for those who aren't into sushi. The miso soup she got was also great. I highly recommend Master Joe's to Japanese/sushi fans or anyone looking for a calm dining experience!

A true sushi master! Kamakazi roll is Off the chain. Great service and atmosphere. Not a lot of tables but worth the wait.

Tamara's Downtown

Upon arrival the atmosphere is very inviting. They had a guitarist playing soft melodies while we dined. Reagan made the experience worth it. My wife ordered the crab cake Benedict with soft scrambled egg and had to send the eggs back for being cooked too long. After the fix she enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken and waffles and was less than impressed. The batter was dry and easily fell apart. To the extent that I couldn’t eat it. I wanted to eat it, lord knows I did, but I couldn’t. Everything else was good though. The Wycliff champagne was delicious especially with the pomegranate. Overall the experience was amazing, but (to me) the food was just meh.

Probably one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten! I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes Eggs Benedict. It tasted so good, that I didn't want to swallow it! The tomatoes were crispy and savory! The eggs were perfect! The sauce was devine! The Gouda Grits were sublime! There was also fried bacon and a blueberry scone. While waiting for my order, I was served a bowl of nice fresh fruit. It was perfect to whet my appetite. Because they were crowded for Sunday brunch, I sat at the bar, which was pretty comfortable. I had a great conversation with the bartender and good service! I highly recommend Tamara's Downtown. The food is next level!

Just Okay. Nothing was wrong, but nothing was particularly great either. Prices were relatively pretty good. Nothing special but still pretty good.

It had been a year or so since we had been there so we decided to give it another shot. The second we walked in the door, I remembered why it had been so long...we were immediately greeted with the smell of butt...it literally smells like a toilet...we went up to order and instead of a hello or what can I get you, she looks at us and just says yes? We place our order and sit down to wait and watch as she greets every single person that came in for their takeout...they must all be regulars because she was very friendly with them. Our food was delivered in takeout containers instead of on a plate and we were given these teeny tiny forks and teeny tiny napkins...my husband liked his order but my garlic chicken was grisly and it is still messing with me hours later...the aftertaste was so bad, I immediately chewed gum when I was done and brushed my teeth when I got home. Also, the place was just filthy and nasty...Never again...

Sonic Drive-In

The young lady that took my order and my husband’s order. Got it wrong the first time, probably was distracted by her combative manager. The manager was being rude and sarcastic with the customer before us. They were yelling and cussing. The tots we got were raw barely fried, and the cheese sticks cold in the middle or old. I never usually care this much about minor things wrong with my order because I’ve worked in the food industry before and understand it’s annoying at times. But this was simply not doing your job you are paid to do. Mind you it wasn’t even busy. Our orders weren’t complicated. I used to love going to sonic but how is it that Fairhope’s sonic is the worst I have ever been to. The manager needs a major attitude adjustment.

This sonic used to be great but it has quickly gone down hill. When I pulled up to the call box I heard the manager being sarcastic and rude to a customer that was at one of the stalls asking if he could order food from there. She proceeded to come outside the kitchen and start yelling at him because he got a little upset with her attitude over the call box. She told him she would call the cops if he didn’t leave and have him trespassed. I proceeded to sit at the call box for at least another 5 minutes with no one answering me. I pulled up to the window and a younger girl tried to take my order, and only got half of it. So she had to re ring half of my order after I had already sat at the window for 12 more minutes. Then after I finally got my food that I ordered, it was all wrong. Burger was made incorrectly, wrong size tot put in the bag(also not fully cooked,) and cold mozzarella sticks. Absolute worst fast food interaction I’ve ever had. I really hope they can salvage this location, whole new staff is needed.
